[It was just another day in the Bastion, helping make preparations for assisting the Ura that were in dire straits. But then, during lunch, Ibuki's cry of disbelief and amusement rang out loud and clear]

[Because she used the monument to create "magical jerky cows", and renovated one of the new buildings on the Bastion into a music venue.]

[... after her initial cry, Ibuki can be found in front of iBooty Shuffle, leaning against one of the chocolate jerky cows and...]

[... just... laughing. That's all she's doing. Laughing]

Yesterday Jane had found trees that grew donuts, and that had been weird enough, but today...there are cows walking around. Cows with strange skin on their backs that, when she approaches one, looks and smells a lot like beef jerky.

The prospect of peeling off a piece to try immediately squicks her out, but Jane can't keep herself from staring at every single one she comes across. The cows don't seem dangerous, she observes. In fact, they seem quite sweet! And look, there's one near that girl standing in front of...

...Okay what the hell was an 'iBooty Shuffle'. No. No, Jane can't stand it anymore, she's got to know. She makes her way over to the girl and cow.]

[Between the sudden cows and the incomprehensible sign, Anya can only assume that she's missing some very clever joke here. The iPod Shuffle hadn't come out yet when she was from, but that probably wouldn't have helped her any.]

[As she heard the laughter from the distance, Megaera paused. You normally didn't hear that sort of laughter without something terrifying going on. And it being Ibuki's voice, as near as she could tell... She moved to approach, staring very confused at the cows and the building. 'iBooty' sounded like some sort of pirate disease to her...]

[It's hard not to notice something is up, with that scream to announce it. Zuko's not sure why... hippo cows? merit that much fuss, but then it is Ibuki. Although when she gets closer, they do smell kind of not like cattle are supposed to smell.

She's just going to check out the new animals and hope Ibuki is too distracted by... whatever that new building is to notice her.]

[ Should he be concerned? Because Naegi is incredibly concerned right now as he watches Ibuki just... standing there, laughing like an evil overlord who's just announced their plans for world conquest.

Then there's the question of the cow. What even... when did they get cows? He's pretty sure cows aren't supposed to look like that...

Okay, yeah, Naegi's just. Gonna attempt to walk by briskly and pretend he didn't see anything because damn he's kinda worried Ibuki might have lost it... ]

[Colin's wandering by on his way to check something else out, when he pauses. And stares. And scans, not that it helps any...]

[Ippo had been out on his daily exercises when he heard an unmistakable laughing coming from somewhere out of sight; Ibuki was, if nothing else, loud and this made it easy for him to find her. What he wasn't expecting was the horde of strange looking cows and a building with a neon sign of her doing some kind of shuffle.

Just...let him take a minute to pick his jaw up off the ground.]

[Preparations for assisting the Ura? Well the second cart was almost done, but it had occurred to Rob that he had no idea when he'd last eaten so he'd stepped out to grab something to eat. And while he was up, he might as well kick over the cubic oak tree to start replacing the wood he'd used up. The Monument had activated somewhere between him heading over to the cubic oak tree and him returning, and Ibuki's cry jolts him out of his thoughts as he walks past what was, moments ago, one of the empty new buildings. He looks up to see... Ibuki shaking her butt at him from a giant neon sign? What. And there's the actual Ibuki with a cow that looks like it has some kind of skin disease, laughing.

He stops to blink at this scene for a moment.]

[AZ just blinks at the jerky cows and... you know what, there's a lot of weird Pokemon. He has no room to talk. But he does crouch down near Ibuki's building, since there's a flower near it in the shade.]

[Once he's confirmed that it's okay, he looks up at the building and raises an eyebrow.]

[ ... Okay, these are weird cows. Are they sick or something, they look like they got hurt and their back dried all up.

Curiously poking one, Duke realizes that... this looks quite a bit like beef jerky.

Although managing to carefully free a strip, the knight is a little dismayed to find chocolate in it. ]

... Why is there chocolate in the jerky..?

[ Docile and friendly sadly doesn't mean that much when creatures don't like Moon anyway.

Ibuki can probably see a slightly nervous looking cow getting carefully stalked by Moon before he manages to snatch a piece off its back. ]

... Isn't meat supposed to be fresh when you get it from grasseaters?

[What was that scream?! Is someone under attack? The Emissary rushes to the scene, only to find... oh, it's just Ibuki. And an Ibuki-themed building that was definitely not there yesterday. And some weird-looking hoofbeasts, also new. She quickly goes from concerned to merely bewildered.]

Ibuki, what in the world...?

[Things have been... rather insane at the Bastion for a while now, and one of the survivors that's usually all up in whatever business that's happening has actually been fairly quiet as of late. But none of that is nearly as unusual at whatever the hell Ibuki is doing. And it doesn't take too much investigation after that ear-piercing noise for Rin to find the girl in front of the renovated building and discover just what in the hell is going on. There's a long, long silence from her as she takes it all in, eyes wide and one eyebrow twitching visibly. And then:] . . . Ibuki. WHY?!

[ Hey yo, she's never met you, but you obviously find something really funny. Your laughter is infectious, so it doesn't take much to get Kohaku laughing as well. After a while, though, she has to wonder why she's laughing.
