Day 241 [OPEN] - Wakeup call
Who: Ibuki Mioda and whoever!
Open: Open forever
When: Day 241, very early in the morning
Where: Around the Monument.
What: Ibuki Mioda arrives at the Bastion... loudly.
Format: Log, but willing to switch to other formats!
Warnings: Scary ghost! 2 spooky!
It was just only becoming daylight at the Bastion when a new arrival would show: A young lady with wild hair. There was nothing particularly extraodinary about her, unless one was to notice the "horns" on her head; but that was only her hair styled to resemble such a feature.
She looked a bit confused and travel-worn; but a one hour walk was really nothing to her. Ibuki was far from exhausted.
And now that she arrived at what appeared to be civilization, where should she go? The apparent center of the village seemed like a good start.
"Yoohoooooooooooooooooooooooooooo?!" she shouted once she reached the Monument, apparently having no regard for people who may still be sleeping, "Hellooooooooooooooooooooo?! Is anybody here?!"
If nobody came out to answer, she'd have to start invading buildings...
[Edit: Now that she's been given the lowdown on the situation, ... you can still feel free to come across her being loud. Ibuki wants to meet new people!]
[Edit of nostalgic regret: This was before I had Ibuki use -chan and made up weird nicknames instead...]

As such, he put on his best friendly face and raised a hand in greeting as he began to approach.]
Um...hello? You're new here right?
no subject
I'm Ibuki. Nice to meet you!
[Rather cheerful for somebody who recently found herself transported to some fantasy land.]
no subject
[Don't mind the formality or the full on bow he was going to give her in greeting, just an old habit.]
If you have any questions, I'd be happy to answer as best I can.
[He'd be surprised if she didn't have any, considering the circumstances. Waking up in a strange land far from home usually left people with at least one or two of those.]
no subject
[And Ibuki, on the other hand, was... very informal]
[And, yes, of course she had questions...]
Ibuki has a lot of questions! But where to start...
Where is here? How did Ibuki get here? What was with those statues of Ibuki's friends? What is the answer to Life, the Universe, and Everything? Why is the land floating? Is there a creepy black and white bear in charge of everything?
no subject
Well...some of those don't have very pleasant answers. We might want to sit down for this, it might be good to get some breakfast while we're at it; do you mind?
no subject
...
You're pretty bold, are you asking Ibuki out on a date?
[She's teasing.......]
no subject
[Ippo doesn't understand being teased, good job on getting him all flustered and thrown off kilter.]
I just...thought you might be hungry...
[Red in the face? Who's red in the face, you're red in the face! No really though he's even looking at the ground.]

Footsteps, or lack thereof because of her levitation abilities; she wouldn't hear them because there were none to be heard.
"Do you have to be so loud?" she asked of the stranger.
no subject
"Hmm..."
Ibuki seems to give the question some serious thought.
"Nope! But it's the best way to get attention," she nodded at her own wisdom, "I'm Ibuki! Nice to meet you, floating person!"
She was still being loud, even after getting attention...
no subject
"I guess," she replied. "I'm Patchouli. Nice to meet you..." She didn't really have many feelings about it either way, honestly; she'd reached a point where she could accept that maybe knowing a few people was a good idea, but she wasn't about to go seeking out company, as a general rule. Acknowledging it as useful didn't mean she necessarily liked it. Maybe Ibuki could be someone she wouldn't mind spending time with?
... well, it was technically possible. In theory. Statistically, though, it wouldn't be something to bet on.
no subject
Ibuki's already referring to Patchouli with a nickname... yeah, she's that kind of person.
"How do you do the floating thing, Patchy? Can you teach Ibuki?"
no subject
"I'll see what I can do, Ibuki."
no subject
Yes, the prospect of floating sure sounded great to her. Maybe she'd even get to fly.
"Does Ibuki need to do anything, or are you going to use magic on me?"
She'd seen the dragon already, after all, so............ yeah, magic wasn't a hard concept for her to grasp, now.

You could learn to be more considerate. I might have been hungover. [Not other people. Just Anya.]
no subject
[She's never had ukon nor been hungover, so she has no idea if that's true (and it actually does nothing for hangovers, sadly)]
I'm Ibuki Mioda! Good Mornyoro~ning, hungover person!

no subject
[even though she already has Anya's attention, Ibuki is still loud...]
Nice to meet you, Anya! Ibuki just got here, so she is hoping to meet as many people as possible.
no subject
Are you hearing impaired?
no subject
Ibuki's hearing is actually really good! I'm just keeping my voice in shape.
[Ibuki can't even stay consistent on referring to herself in third or first person...]

But for now, I'm new and meeting everybody here! I'm Ibuki Mioda, nice to meet mew!
[yup, she really said mew instead of 'you'...]

[Bon is unsure of what to think of Mioda, but he'll be polite.]
I'm Ryuuji Suguro, but most people call me Bon.

Okay! Bonbon it is!
no subject
[It sounds like a kind of candy or something.]
Why that nickname? Bon is fine.
no subject
[No, she didn't read your mind. It really was what she was thinking of]
What's wrong with Bonbon?
