Day 241 [OPEN] - Wakeup call
Who: Ibuki Mioda and whoever!
Open: Open forever
When: Day 241, very early in the morning
Where: Around the Monument.
What: Ibuki Mioda arrives at the Bastion... loudly.
Format: Log, but willing to switch to other formats!
Warnings: Scary ghost! 2 spooky!
It was just only becoming daylight at the Bastion when a new arrival would show: A young lady with wild hair. There was nothing particularly extraodinary about her, unless one was to notice the "horns" on her head; but that was only her hair styled to resemble such a feature.
She looked a bit confused and travel-worn; but a one hour walk was really nothing to her. Ibuki was far from exhausted.
And now that she arrived at what appeared to be civilization, where should she go? The apparent center of the village seemed like a good start.
"Yoohoooooooooooooooooooooooooooo?!" she shouted once she reached the Monument, apparently having no regard for people who may still be sleeping, "Hellooooooooooooooooooooo?! Is anybody here?!"
If nobody came out to answer, she'd have to start invading buildings...
[Edit: Now that she's been given the lowdown on the situation, ... you can still feel free to come across her being loud. Ibuki wants to meet new people!]
[Edit of nostalgic regret: This was before I had Ibuki use -chan and made up weird nicknames instead...]

Fear is now the enemy's problem, don't you worry.
[Colin flashes Ippo a way-too-confident grin, and then looks at Ibuki.]
There shouldn't be anything dangerous out right now, but avoid touching anything you don't recognize just the same. This is a heavy machinery workshop.
If you need anything, you can probably find people around the distillery.

[She's joking]

[He's been beat up enough today without being blown sky-high, he just wants to relax for right now.]
no subject
Just take care, you two. I'll be back later. Hopefully with a ghost behaving.
[With that, Colin sets out to go track down Yukio. He REALLY hopes Yukio wasn't at the hospital...]

Some first day...huh?
[He muttered weakly at Ibuki, feeling absolutely awful that this was her first impression of this place.]
no subject
[She'd prefer to focus on the positive]
It's had its ups and downs!
But this is probably the most horrifying first day Ibuki has spent anywhere!
... Actually, Ibuki's still debating on whether the hospital tops what happened on the island.
no subject
[He said, quirking an eyebrow without actually opening his eyes. He wasn't at all sure what Ibuki's life was like before the Bastion if it involved bears and islands.]
no subject
[Gosh okay fine, she didn't mean to bring it up but it happened, so she might as well tell the story and get it out of the way-]
Ibuki told you she went to Hope's Peak Academy, right?
My first day there... me and some other people somehow got taken to some tropical resort.
This bunny mascot, calling herself our teacher, was telling us we were just there to have fun.
But then this weird bear showed up... Monokuma.
[She falls silent for a bit...]
no subject
[He'd heard that name from Naegi just yesterday...and if what he said was true, which he absolutely thought it was, then it couldn't have meant anything good.]
The person I mentioned before...Naegi...he also had a run in with that bear. It didn't sound like a good story...
no subject
[She thinks about that... no, there was definitely no Naegi that was with her group. Was it possible another group of students had been put through the same ordeal? Just how many people did Monokuma do that to?!]
Did... he mention what Monokuma wanted them to do... to escape?
no subject
[He said, his voice slow, less with pain and more with a terrible realization setting itself into place with a firm click in his brain.]
I'm so sorry...
no subject
He swore he wouldn't let any of us die, and I really thought things were going to be okay. We were all getting along pretty well... except Fuyuhiko, I guess, now that I think about it. But I'm pretty sure even he wasn't planning on doing anything.
... except for him, I thought we were all friends...
no subject
Ibuki...
[He said her name, not knowing what else to start with. It came out in a low, sorrowful tone, as much inflection as his damaged throat could manage at any rate.]
That won't happen...ever again. Not ever again...I'll make sure of it if I have to...
no subject
How often does stuff like that hospital haunting happen, anyway?
no subject
[There had never been anything dangerous within their own walls before...it was an unsettling prospect at best.]
no subject
[She's more or less joking... if this was the first time it happened, then maybe it was just a fluke? She sure hoped so...]
no subject
[His tone, once again, reassuring as he could manage. If he could sit up he would put a hand on her shoulder, but it felt like a lead weight had settled on his chest and he had no inclination to be standing up anytime soon.]
If anything...I'm the one with all...the bad luck.
no subject
...
Ibuki was joking.
no subject
[Then again, it was hard to feel good about your luck after walking into a literal hell and getting beaten up so bad. Among other things that had happened here, but he didn't need to get into that can of worms.]
I think...looking at me...you can tell I'm not...exactly the luckiest person around.
no subject
And anyway, you shouldn't counter a joke with a self-depreciating comment like that.
no subject
Your right...I'm sorry...I guess even now my self confidence...isn't all that good. I just...gotta better myself...right?
[He finally managed to open an eye, his head not throbbing quite so badly anymore with the medication taking affect, and gave Ibuki a sort of awkward, half smile. There was something about her that made it hard to be sad for long.]
no subject
[Says the person who played solo for awhile... but that's different, ok!? It's not like she puts her life on the line like Ippo seems apt to do]
It's not always about bettering yourself, Ippo! Just be more careful!
no subject
[Contrary to popular belief, Ippo actually didn't like being hurt very much. Or at all, if he could help it. Sometimes there were situations where it came down to him or someone else, and in those cases he'd always pick the other person, but beyond that...well, he'd do his best to not get the snot beaten out of him.]
Still...can't say I expected...a ghost to be in the hospital. Talk about...left field...
