Day 241 [OPEN] - Wakeup call
Who: Ibuki Mioda and whoever!
Open: Open forever
When: Day 241, very early in the morning
Where: Around the Monument.
What: Ibuki Mioda arrives at the Bastion... loudly.
Format: Log, but willing to switch to other formats!
Warnings: Scary ghost! 2 spooky!
It was just only becoming daylight at the Bastion when a new arrival would show: A young lady with wild hair. There was nothing particularly extraodinary about her, unless one was to notice the "horns" on her head; but that was only her hair styled to resemble such a feature.
She looked a bit confused and travel-worn; but a one hour walk was really nothing to her. Ibuki was far from exhausted.
And now that she arrived at what appeared to be civilization, where should she go? The apparent center of the village seemed like a good start.
"Yoohoooooooooooooooooooooooooooo?!" she shouted once she reached the Monument, apparently having no regard for people who may still be sleeping, "Hellooooooooooooooooooooo?! Is anybody here?!"
If nobody came out to answer, she'd have to start invading buildings...
[Edit: Now that she's been given the lowdown on the situation, ... you can still feel free to come across her being loud. Ibuki wants to meet new people!]
[Edit of nostalgic regret: This was before I had Ibuki use -chan and made up weird nicknames instead...]

[She nods]
Not just for ghosts, though! There could be other things that might be difficult to defeat with normal boxing gloves!
...
Maybe Ibuki could get an axe that doubles as an axe...
[Ibuki, you've never used a battleax before...]

[He said, smiling proudly that his friend had made him something so uniquely awesome. It wasn't every day you could shred through something with lasers.]
But...why make an axe that's an axe? Do you mean a double edged axe?
no subject
Axe is a term for guitars! Hm... you have a lot to learn about music, but don't worry! Ibuki's willing to teach you!

[He smiled, that gentle, goofy smile of his. Ibuki in the span of one day had rushed him to a hospital, had picked him up while he was down, and had made him laugh more than he'd laughed in a long while. Hers was a presence he felt was lacking as of recently; that energy and vitality she gave off was invigorating, infectious even. He even thought he might be able to stand up...though a quick test put that one to bed, not even the happiest of people could reverse being thrown through a door.
Still though, in the deepest part of himself, he could feel that little broken hole in his heart start to put itself back together. A strange feeling, but he liked it.]
I'm sure...if you ask Colin...he could figure out something. He's good at things like that.

...
Ibuki has no clue how to use a battleaxe, though!

[There were enough people here in the Bastion that it wasn't unthinkable that Ibuki could learn from someone. There was also the monument.]
At the very least...you could always make a magic battleaxe...that fights for you, I suppose.

[He'd seen impossible things come out of the thing...at this point, he was convinced that if someone had an idea and the shards, they could make it a reality.]

[It was sound advice. What little they knew of the monument they knew of didn't include knowledge of its energy limits. Best not to test those.]

[He said, finally resting his head against the couch again. At this point, Ippo felt that same relief that had begun in his stomach finally touching the tips of his fingers and the weight in his chest seemed to lift slightly. Tentatively, and after alerting Ibuki to what he was doing, he gave sitting up a try. It was a slow movement, but before he knew it he was back on his feet, perhaps a bit wobbly, but his stance seemed firm.]
I think...I should go back to my room now. I think some sleep would do me good.
no subject
[... Ibuki why are you suddenly having thoughts of yaoi...]
no subject
[He didn't want to think about that, honestly. If there was one thing he knew Colin for, it was that he kept his promises; he wasn't really interested in being handcuffed to anything, especially not with Anya there after the things he'd heard.]

[Ibuki will let you keep some of your masculinity this time and not princesss carry you again]
But if you trip, Ibuki will carry you.

[He would let Ibuki wrap one of his arms around her shoulders and with all the grace of a wounded animal, he dragged himself out of Colin's workshop and back towards the apartments.]
Sorry I couldn't show you the Onsen today...but you can probably find it regardless. It kinda sticks out.
[Like most other things that were here that weren't when they'd arrived.]
no subject
[Ibuki, stop teasing Ippo...]

[There was a slight tinge of embarrassment to his face, but by now, he knew Ibuki was joking with him. That and between his aching everything and his weary mind, he didn't have much in the ways of comebacks...or anything really. Still, he felt something should be said about that, all things considered.]
I wouldn't do that, you know. I don't think anyone here would, not anyone I know at least.

no subject
I don't think I could. I've been through too much with everyone here to do something that underhanded...

[He said wearily, the apartment now in view and rapidly approaching. All he could think about right now properly was how good it would feel once he was in his own, soft bed.]
no subject
I'm warning you about perverted friends that might make you do strange things.
no subject
[His replies were definitely getting simpler the closer they got to the apartment. He wasn't sure what kind of painkillers Colin had given him, but now that they were doing their thing, they sure were doing a good job of it.]
