Day 241 [OPEN] - Wakeup call
Who: Ibuki Mioda and whoever!
Open: Open forever
When: Day 241, very early in the morning
Where: Around the Monument.
What: Ibuki Mioda arrives at the Bastion... loudly.
Format: Log, but willing to switch to other formats!
Warnings: Scary ghost! 2 spooky!
It was just only becoming daylight at the Bastion when a new arrival would show: A young lady with wild hair. There was nothing particularly extraodinary about her, unless one was to notice the "horns" on her head; but that was only her hair styled to resemble such a feature.
She looked a bit confused and travel-worn; but a one hour walk was really nothing to her. Ibuki was far from exhausted.
And now that she arrived at what appeared to be civilization, where should she go? The apparent center of the village seemed like a good start.
"Yoohoooooooooooooooooooooooooooo?!" she shouted once she reached the Monument, apparently having no regard for people who may still be sleeping, "Hellooooooooooooooooooooo?! Is anybody here?!"
If nobody came out to answer, she'd have to start invading buildings...
[Edit: Now that she's been given the lowdown on the situation, ... you can still feel free to come across her being loud. Ibuki wants to meet new people!]
[Edit of nostalgic regret: This was before I had Ibuki use -chan and made up weird nicknames instead...]

It's pretty good.
...
... Hey, you know if... anybody from Hope's Peak Academy is here?
no subject
Oh! Do you know Aoi Asahina or Makoto Naegi? They came from there from what I know.
no subject
[Of course it wouldn't have been that simple...]
no subject
[Well that was a let down...so close to being helpful.]
Is there anything else I can help with? Maybe I can show you around the Bastion, it's gotten kind of big since I've been here, so there's a lot to see.
no subject
[Though, she intended on meeting other people around here, anyway]
Right, a tour would be good. Ibuki would appreciate it.
[Already, she was starting to get back to normal... she'd seen a lot of horrible stuff, and the apocalypse was worst of all but... Ibuki wasn't going to wallow in despair. Her friends wouldn't want that...]
no subject
[He brought a hand up to his chin, thinking about where he could start his impromptu tour here...]
Well...you've already seen the monument, how about the Dragon Field?
no subject
[Ibuki, always so loud...]
no subject
[Considering the very same dragon had been responsible for pulling him out of his depression after what had happened with Night, those weren't words he used lightly.]
He might not be there right now, but the mammoths should be awake by now.
no subject
Is it okay if Ibuki calls him Pat?
Wait!
More importantly, can Ibuki have a dragon ride?!
[Dragons > Mammoths]
no subject
[Ippo stood up and took Ibuki's empty plate to the sink, washing it off quickly before heading towards the door.]
Just follow me!
no subject
Okay! Lead the way, Ippopo!
[You are now Ippopo, Ippo...]
But if Paar eats Ibuki, she'll never forgive you!
[Well, they've clearly had a dragon around for awhile, so she didn't sound terribly worried]
no subject
[It was enough to get an honest laugh out of him. Ibuki might have been a little loud, but compared to Takamura it wasn't anything he couldn't handle, and her sense of humor was almost infectious.
It wasn't that long a jaunt to the field itself, and as he'd thought, the wooly beasts were out in number, roaming idly around as they grazed on the long grass. He put his hands around his mouth and called off into the distance, his voice carrying clear across the field with ease.]
Paarthunax? Are you here?
no subject
[A moment later, and a rather large head- certainly large enough that "death by dragon devouring" might be a thing newcomers to the Bastion would worry about- presses up and gives a shake. He spots Ippo quickly enough.]
Drem yol lok, Ippo. A moment, please.
[He starts to pull himself out from the lake, wings acting as his forelegs and his weight making the earth rumble just a bit. He's missing a horn and covered in scars, but the fearsome appearance is (hopefully) belied by the fact that he speaks slowly and patiently with that deep voice of his. He continues to speak as he approaches calmly.]
Is this a new addition to our numbers?

It is good to see you made it here well. Ippo has been helping you, then?
no subject
[But whoa a dragon...]
Do you give rides, Paar?
[Why is she switching names?]
[But oh man, she's thinking up some awesome dragon song now...]
no subject
[His tail whips behind him, sending a rain of water onto some small trees to the side.]
no subject
...
[Wow that was a lot of water...]
With that much water, you could douse the entire village!
[The image of a dragon just throwing water on people for the lulz was apparently amusing to her...]
no subject
[He said with a chuckle as he gazed up at Paar.]
Sorry to bother you, but I guess when you tell someone there's a giant dragon around, it's kind of something you have to see to believe at first.
no subject
Better for my presence to be known than for any to be surprised. My kind are not always welcome, after all.

[That was quite the scream for just a demonstration...]
3/3
That would be a sad ending...
no subject
[Knowing how quick to act his home country was to outside threats, it wouldn't have surprised him one bit.]
Then again, Paar can do a lot of unique things with his voice, so to say who would have the sad ending is debatable.
