Day 241 [OPEN] - Wakeup call
Who: Ibuki Mioda and whoever!
Open: Open forever
When: Day 241, very early in the morning
Where: Around the Monument.
What: Ibuki Mioda arrives at the Bastion... loudly.
Format: Log, but willing to switch to other formats!
Warnings: Scary ghost! 2 spooky!
It was just only becoming daylight at the Bastion when a new arrival would show: A young lady with wild hair. There was nothing particularly extraodinary about her, unless one was to notice the "horns" on her head; but that was only her hair styled to resemble such a feature.
She looked a bit confused and travel-worn; but a one hour walk was really nothing to her. Ibuki was far from exhausted.
And now that she arrived at what appeared to be civilization, where should she go? The apparent center of the village seemed like a good start.
"Yoohoooooooooooooooooooooooooooo?!" she shouted once she reached the Monument, apparently having no regard for people who may still be sleeping, "Hellooooooooooooooooooooo?! Is anybody here?!"
If nobody came out to answer, she'd have to start invading buildings...
[Edit: Now that she's been given the lowdown on the situation, ... you can still feel free to come across her being loud. Ibuki wants to meet new people!]
[Edit of nostalgic regret: This was before I had Ibuki use -chan and made up weird nicknames instead...]

Come on, Ippo, let's get some tea!
[And sudden subject change...]
[Though, Ibuki didn't even know if they had tea here...]
no subject
[Just...let him lead the way here, maybe if he's in front he could hide all that embarrassment he's got going on right now. Maybe. Probably not.]
no subject
Hm... I just realized, I don't know much about what you do, Ippopo!
Except that you're a really nice person, a good chef, and accepted a position as my kouhai.
no subject
I...don't really do much other than exercise and help gather shards and cores here, but before coming to the Bastion I was a professional boxer.
no subject
I knew a gymnast that liked to fight a lot. She probably would've wanted to fight you!
[Well, it still hurt a little to think about the friends that she lost... but she wasn't going to let it drag her down anymore!]
Hm... maybe I could come up with a song about boxing...
no subject
[This gymnast person and Takamura would have gotten along swimmingly he was sure.]
That would be pretty fun I think!
[He could almost imagine the high energy and fast movement of the music already if it was going to be about boxing.]
no subject
Oh! The shards you were using. Where can Ibuki get those?
[She doesn't want to have to sponge off people forever...]
no subject
[He paused mid-sentence. Carefully thought about his words and then spoke. This was something more dangerous that just tossing info around, when the Skyway was concerned, caution needed to be right behind it.]
You get shards out on the Skyway, where you were before you got here. You can find them lying around, but it's not at all safe out there; if you go out, promise you'll come find me or someone else, you shouldn't ever be out there alone.
[Says the person who was out there for three weeks by himself, but that was neither here or there.]
Sound fair?
no subject
Yeah. Ibuki's not much of a fighter, so if you say it's bad out there, I'll make sure I'm with somebody who can handle it.
no subject
[His shoulders and stance seemed to relax almost immediately, as if his body itself had let out a sigh of relief. He wasn't about to lose any more friends to that damned place.]
no subject
[Ippo, why are you making yourself such an easy target that Ibuki can't resist?]
no subject
[He's just going to hang his head and keep moving towards the kitchen. Have you figured out that he has trouble talking to women yet? How many times can he mess up with his words? A lot is the answer. A very lot.]
no subject
[Maybe...]
[... maybe not?]
no subject
at least on the outside.]
Hmm...I could have sworn I saw a tea box around here somewhere...
[He muttered as he continued to root around. Ibuki was free to help, or poke more fun if she wanted.]
no subject
[Ibuki will look at the shelves too, as long as she could do so without getting in Ippo's way.]
[Granted, unless it was clearly labelled as tea or tea leaves or something like that, she probably won't be much help]
no subject
We're going down cap'n, godspeed.]
no subject
...
[And as Ippo falls... he'll find himself being princess carried by Ibuki instead of meeting the ground violently]
And then, expected gender roles were reversed!
no subject
Thank you Ibuki-sempai, that could have been bad...but I found the tea!
[He said with a laugh, holding up the box with a smile. Your free to put him down at any time though. Just sayin.]
no subject
Good job, Ippo!
... Ibuki somehow gets the feeling you fall a lot.
no subject
[He said sheepishly as he was set down, setting the box on the table now that he could.]
Boxers weren't designed to be in the air for any great amount of time after all.
no subject
[Wait no, in the sort of world they're in now-]
That was a terrible idea, Ibuki won't speak of it ever again!
no subject
It's all in good fun, don't worry about it. Do you do any sports yourself? Or is it just strictly music for you?
no subject
I've done some sports now and then whenever I feel like it. Ibuki doesn't really stick with one very long, though!
[She's a very whimsical person when it comes to a lot of things outside of music.]
no subject
[It would definitely make it a less lonely experience, that was for sure.]
no subject
If Ibuki can get a bass guitarist, she'll bring them along for it, too!
