[Early in the morning on Day 225, most people are probably asleep. For the couple of stragglers who may still be awake so late, though, they may notice something strange. At 2:31 am, any lights that are on start to hum, and flicker in and out of dimness.

At 2:32 am, every light in the Bastion (excluding the emergency lights) shuts off entirely.

At 2:33 am, a horrible grinding noise can be heard throughout the Bastion, seemingly coming from everywhere at once. This sound continues on for several minutes, throughout everything else that begins to happen.

At 2:34 am, for anyone outside Nathaniel can be seen running from the Apartments towards the Monument as if his life depended on it.

At 2:35 am, ever so slowly, sections of the Bastion begin to sink.

( As shocking as it is that she's actually making an effort to interact with everyone, even more puzzling is the little notepad she has with her, that appears to be occupied by some kind of meat-centric tally chart. )

( Angry with herself and everything, as is the norm for her these days, she sucks on her teeth and spits, trying to clear her mouth of the aftertaste of copper. )

What: Skyla decides to work out if she hates herself or the Bastion more and Saix drags her ass back where it needs to be.

( She's covered heard to toe in bruises and scratches and her nose is bleeding freely, leaving a garish stream of crimson that's dripping all over her clothes. )

What: Skyla falls headfirst into the Skyway and makes her way to the Bastion -- and is less than impressed with what she finds.

Warnings: Skyla's poopoo mouth like seriously girl, wash it out with soap.

( she'll realize later, once she has some answers, that she was feeling her homeworld, still connected to her by a heartstring, light up like a sun and then die )
