[ Zelda had kept to herself since the Festival; receiving Link's shield as a gift from the Bastion's gods had given her more than a little to think about. Her perception of the Bastion was tipped completely on its head. What first she regarded only as the origin of the malevolence which destroyed her world now seemed somewhat benevolent. Entertaining this possibility, that the Bastion may be more than simply the worlds' end, eventually wrested Zelda from her self-imposed confinement. For the first time in a week, she decided to take a walk around the Bastion. ]
[ Things had changed since last she checked; there were a few new buildings and a bizarre new species of tree that Zelda felt it best not to approach. She made her way to the gazebo, the favorite spot she had occupied during much of the Festival. It was a quiet, comfortable place to relax. As she approached, she found that even the gazebo had a new addition-- a beautiful piano. It was all but impossible for Zelda to resist sitting down to it. She removed her gloves and slid her fingertips over the keys, scowling at the contrast between her green skin and the smooth ivory. A shame that she could not play with her gloves on. ]
[ After a moment to think of a song she could play from memory, Zelda set her fingers to the keys and began to play. ]
(ooc; The piece is "Thanksgiving" by George Winston. )
