[When Patchouli arrived on the Skyway, she immediately caught sight of the Bastion and began to fly toward it -- but immediately she noticed something was off. It was hard to tell just what tipped her off to this, but maybe it had something to do with the fact that she just didn't make any skyward distance whatsoever. Instead, she continued to float a few inches off the ground, and not terribly fast.

Thankfully, she was in no real danger, but it was getting a bit late -- or dark, at least -- as Patchouli approached the northern portion of the Bastion. For perhaps the first time in a very long time, she was truly puzzled, but the Bastion seemed like a significantly safer place than the open expanse.

However, it did warrant further research.]
