[So the past few days in the Bastion have been very hectic and a little more than emotionally stressful for everyone. About two days have come and gone since the last very large batch of arrivals have come in to the Bastion, and thankfully since then it's been relatively quiet. It's a good time to compress, meet some new people and maybe have some good food at the distillery courtesy of Rin.]

[It doesn't really matter anyway. She's not used to being sick at all and really has no idea how to handle herself in this situation. Plus it's already starting to fade anyway, so she's not even in a state to whine about it, much less ask for anything.

She puts an arm over her eyes, blocking out the light in the room without realizing that Bon was left standing awkwardly there before deciding to leave.

She slid her arm up a little more to look at him, trying to get a smile out before he left.]

'kay... see you when you get back.

[Bon is gone for well over twenty minutes, as he goes and investigates the monument, and then does a quick look-around for the girl. He does not find her, though, and eventually he turns back towards the apartments to go report to Rin.

But first he will peek in to see if she is awake or not. If she is sleeping, then there is no sense in waking her.]

[She's not really asleep so much as resting with her eyes closed and trying to ignore how her stomach is still flip-flopping about. Being nauseated was never fun, but it didn't happen all that often to Rin which made the feeling ten times worse for her.

She peeked an eye open at hearing Bon's footsteps enter the room, and before he had a chance to decide she was asleep and leave her hand reached out to tug on his arm.]

Stay?

[Oh. She is awake after all.

Well then.]

...sure.

[He sits down on the edge of Rin's bed, sitting so he can face her.]

The monument was fine, by the way.

[Mostly.

Rin rolls over on her side after he sits, scooting back a little so he's not being shoved off accidentally. Her hand moved over, touching his gently while she nodded to his comment.]

I'unno then... hopefully it doesn't happen again...

[When her hand touches his, he'll move to take a hold of it, running his thumb over her knuckles.]

We'll find the source of it. If it was that girl, then someone can talk to her about it.

[Since it only lasted a moment, he figures it wasn't something serious, or at least not serious enough to warrant immediate intervention.]

[That was all they could really hope for. The Bastion usually seemed to control things like fighting amongst survivors and whatnot, but it obviously hadn't been enough to control some one's obvious power outburst.

Another nod, and Rin closed her eyes again, letting out a sigh through her nose. At least her stomach was finally calming down, but it had left her feeling completely worn out.]

Are you feelin' okay after all that?

[That, or the Bastion didn't see it as a threat.

Bon smiles a little when Rin speaks, though.]

Yeah, I'm fine. But don't worry about me, you got hit a lot worse than I did.

[Also a possibility.

Rin makes a face, and then blurts out something that... is probably a bit insensitive, all things considered.]

Y-yeah but you were actually crying!

[kyotoprincess]

[YEP that smile is gone now, replaced by his usual stock almost-frown.]

You say that like it's weird or something.

I've never seen you cry before!

[It's weird to her ok?]

[kyotoprincess]

Just because you've never seen it doesn't mean I've never cried!

[Okay, so he was little when he cried before. But still!!1]

[hellpyre]

I didn't say you've never cried, I said I've never seen you cry! I was worried about you, okay?!

[Never mind that she was the one on the floor...]

How can you worry about someone else when you got sicker than I did?

[He lets out an irritated sigh and runs his hand through his hair. It's a little longer now, but still nowhere near as long as it was when he first arrived.]

[hellpyre]

'cause I care about you. Dummy.

[Rin sits up, her own hair a little ruffled and falling out of the bun she'd had it in earlier.]

I'm not gonna stop carin' about you and worryin' about whether or not you're okay just 'cause I got sick for the first time in like... ever.
