[So the past few days in the Bastion have been very hectic and a little more than emotionally stressful for everyone. About two days have come and gone since the last very large batch of arrivals have come in to the Bastion, and thankfully since then it's been relatively quiet. It's a good time to compress, meet some new people and maybe have some good food at the distillery courtesy of Rin.]

[ Very very sad. Anna blinks up at him, although she recognized his voice and the vague feel of him. ]

[N had been holed up inside the hospital with Hilda since their arrival, but she had finally insisted he go out himself and get some fresh air with Zoroark while she got some sleep. The fox was elsewhere, currently, leaving N to his own devices.

He sat down next to the little girl under the tree, watching her carefully.]

They're not here, are they?

[ Anna shivers once, and hunches up a little.

That would be N's answer. Anna doesn't want to say it, because that makes it feel extra-real, and its harder to ignore that way. ]

[There was nothing he could do for her, and his normal social awkwardness made him less than ideal for comfort. But he didn't want to leave her there like that, either.

A hand dropped on top of her head, and he spoke quietly.]

You're not alone here.

... I know.

[ But it feels like it. Mikoto didn't have his aura in Vatheon, but that didn't change that she still had them, and he was still the warm place. And Tatara was alive and full of hobbies still. ]

... It just feels like it.

[N nodded, but not entirely in understanding. If not for his attachment to Hilda he would have been fine arriving without other Vatheon residents.]

All we can do is keep living.

[ Think of it this way, N. She lost her Zoroark and her Hilda. ]

Even if it really hurts.

Living hurts sometimes.

It does. And its very rude of it.

[ She doesn't have anything more to say after that, though. ]
