[So the past few days in the Bastion have been very hectic and a little more than emotionally stressful for everyone. About two days have come and gone since the last very large batch of arrivals have come in to the Bastion, and thankfully since then it's been relatively quiet. It's a good time to compress, meet some new people and maybe have some good food at the distillery courtesy of Rin.]

Oh! Let's make it a drinking game.

[Both lineface and tone should show that Saix thinks this is a horrible idea.]

What sort of game would you even play?

There's always the type where you pick some kind of trigger. Say, take a drink whenever you spot someone sitting around depressed because the world has ended and most of their loved ones are probably ash or statues.

...that might get us through the bottle a little too quickly.

I actually think that would potentially kill us both from alcohol poisoning.

What about "Never have I ever"? You've never done anything, so you should have the advantage with that one.

...Very well. Why don't we do that sometime later in the day, however? There are still some things I want to look into.

Tonight? Inebriation is often best at the end of the day, when you can just flop into bed together.

...I make no promise of even thinking about having sex with you.

Still, tonight then. Unless you have any other ideas, then my apartment is in the tower building, seventh floor.

Oh, you'll think about it. It's like when someone tells you, "Don't even think about using that axe," and then you just can't help picturing it, vividly. Maybe even doing it.

[He is just going to completely ignore the first part of what she said.]

[With that, he'll just tuck the bottle into his coat and start off to investigate the rest of the Bastion. What parts of it he hasn't already heavily scrutinized, anyway. Still, by that 'night', Saix's apartment lights are on and he's waiting patiently there, just petting his dog. The kitchen already has a few drinks, including the stout from earlier.]

[Anya shows up-- well, not promptly because it wasn't like they set a time, but she shows up. And not wearing anything remarkable since it's not like she has a closetful of selections, but she looks fabulous in anything, really.

She knows enough of human manners to knock. That was one of the earlier ones she figured out, after being told repeatedly.]

[croceamors]

[There's a lot of dog barking from inside, a sharp order to "Quiet", and then Saix opens the door. He's managed to shed his coat and gloves, but it's all black like usual today. He only has two 'outfits' and they're both exactly the same.]

So you came. [He steps aside to make room for her to enter. New Moon is still on the couch, tail wagging. Yaaaaaay, new person!]

Of course. Drinking alone is a little sad.

[She steps inside, spotting his dog and raising her eyebrows.]

I see you got to bring your pet with you.

[croceamors]

I had my hand on his leash right as things ended. I imagine that's the only reason he survived.

[The door clicks shut behind her, and Saix walks past so he can head into the kitchen to get their drinks. No sense delaying the inevitable. Anya will have to excuse the lack of decoration; it was barren when he got here besides some furniture.]

That's lucky for him. Maybe I should have grabbed a few things.

[Anya follows him, only glancing around a bit. They've been here a whopping two days. It would have been impressive had he decorated at all.]

Not a lot of people seemed to have managed. Considering how sudden everything was, it's not surprising.

[He's just grabbing the drinks, really, there's no need to completely tag after him.]

So... how do we start this, then?

[This may come as a complete shock to Anya, but Saix has little to no idea how casual drinking goes let alone drinking games.]

[The alternative is to hang out in the living room and attempt to bond with his dog. Anya is not so much a dog person.]

First you pour us some drinks, and then we take turns. I might say something like, "Never have I ever dyed my hair." Which is a lie, of course, so I would have to take a drink, but if that color is actually natural, you wouldn't have to.

[croceamors]

That sounds simple enough.

[And he could actually get away with minimal embarassing drunken behavior, maybe, with the right questions. So after the setting the bottles down on the coffee table and giving New Moon permission to follow him around, Saix gets the bottles next. He organizes it all very neatly on the table.]

Let's start with someone that isn't so... strong. [So yeah, just some hard lemonade for now. He suspects they'll get to the stout in good time. With the glasses poured, he leans back in his seat and keeps a hand on New Moon, whose tail won't stop wagging.] You first, then?

If you insist.

[On the hard lemonade, that is. Anya takes one of the glasses and settles herself down on the sofa, being so considerate as to leave some space between them and not violate Saix's personal space. Not yet anyway.

Gee, what is something she hasn't done that Saix possibly might have. What's anything she hasn't done? Well, at least she has one freebie.]

Never have I ever owned a dog.

And is that your natural color, by the way?

[croceamors]

[Excuse him for not wanting to end up with on clothes in five minutes, Anya. Not that he really lost any clothes when he got embarrassingly drunk the last time, but you can never be too cautious in Saix's book.]

[Also, fine, he'll take a drink.]

Yes. Is that unusual? Also, never have I ever slept with more than one person.

Yes, it's like some kind of freak genetic mutation.

[And yeah, definitely gotta take a drink there. She'll make it a long one.]

Never have I ever kissed a woman. On the lips.

It's not that unusual. Blue is a fairly common color. At least it's not pink.

[Oh hey, looks like Saix isn't touching his glass for this one.]

Never have I ever gone to a party.

What, not even once? God, you are deprived.

[Gotta take another drink. It'll be impressive if he comes up with one she hasn't done, probably.]

I've been working for most of my life.

[Marluxia, he hates you for inadvertently making him drink. Down it goes.]

Never have I worked for a boss that was concise and to the point.

[She looks so proud of herself for this small accomplishment.]

Oh, right. Never have I ever... intentionally caused the death of any coworker.
