[So hey. There's this girl. She's been in this place for a while, helped out with a lot of things, and today she got to help do something awesome! Cores are important to the Bastion after all, so that's a good thing.

Except she kind of... lit herself on fire and a lot of people saw it.

Anyone want to talk to her about that?

In all seriousness, Rin can be found after all that hubbub taking a break near the apartments, outside because she really doesn't want to be in her room right now. She's nursing a bit of a wound on her thigh from sliding on her legs under the bird earlier, but whatever road rash she got from doing so is starting to fade finally. Her sword is lying next to her in the grass, and she's just on her back, watching the odd sky above the Bastion quietly.

Mostly because her ears are still kind of ringing from what Crona did.

Ringing ears won't stop her from holding a conversation, though, if anyone cares to bother her, and she's in a decent mood given their accomplishments.]

Rin's eyes don't open until he speaks, ears still ringing enough that she's not picking up movement and subtle noises as easily as she usually does. It'll fade eventually but for now she gets to deal with the constant ringing for another few hours.]

Nothing much, I decided I'm going to be saving up shards with Crona so we can get rabbits in here.

Guess it's a good thing we got the farmland now.

[Rin can cook rabbit, but it's not something she wants to do. It's a difficult meat to cook with for one thing, but... rabbits. D: ]

Well it shouldn't be too hard to do now that we're finally gettin' some things here. I found a lotta fabric when we searched the Marketplace.

[The inside of his head is itching. Is this normal? This never happened when he used Soul Perception before.]

After we get the rabbits, maybe we can save up our shards to get some clothing-making equipment in the Bastion? Maybe it can supply even more materials like the farmland is right now.

Maybe. I mean, that was two more today, addin' on to what's been tricklin' in since we got here.

[Rin tugged on her skirt a little at the mention of getting something for making clothes.]

Yeah we probably need that soon. I don't think my uniform is gonna hold up much longer.

[Not really, this is something he should have brought up as soon as they got back but everyone seemed so exhausted from the fight and with the excitement of finding the Core--]

My...range for my Soul Perception is kind of huge. Not bragging or anything, that's just how it is...um...below the Skyway, waaay below it, I sensed...monsters. A lot more monsters. Millions of monsters. I'm really worried about what happens if they start coming up.

Probably...even more than that. My head started hurting and I couldn't concentrate on that anymore...

[She lifted a hand, hesitating before gently resting it on Maka's head.]

[He kind of flinches at the contact but stills afterward.]

Hnn...the pain will pass, I think. But that's not important, what's important is bringing this up and figuring out strategies for what to do about it.

Nathaniel would have a better idea than we would. A... and I mean for now the Bastion is safe.

I...yeah, I do, don't I? It's been hard not knowing what happened to my friends, but...that doesn't mean I don't have friends I can rely on here.
