[Day 205] It's the end of the world, get drunk
Who: Georges and anyone about
Open: Open
When: 205 sometime in the afternoon
Where: Around the Monument
What: The Cael way of celebrating everyone not dying involves booze, so drink up! (Fun fact: the Cael way of mourning may also involve booze.)
Format: Any
Warnings: Drunken shenanigans, likely. Also feel free to treat this like a mingle thread and not just talking to Georges! (Although he'll try to chat with everyone if he can)
So, just to double check: A cure has been found? Everyone's recovered? No one's dead? It's safe to leave the house now? Excellent.
With this fact well known, one can find Georges starting off his morning not hanging about the bar (as is his custom as the only bartender in the Bastion) but in fact setting up something in front of the Monument. Tables, chairs, some blankets to sit on when those inevitably run out... There's also something of a makeshift bar area, a variety of liquor in fascinating bottles set up along with some glasses.
Everything is all finished up around the afternoon, and Georges goes behind his little makeshift table-bar to cup his hands around his mouth so he can yell-
"DRINKS ON THE HOUSE!"
...What do you mean he technically never makes anyone pay for booze at the end of the world? Just come up and have a drink, Georges will be happy to recommend something. Or maybe bother someone else having a drink?

For Georges:
Rob walks up to the "bar", takes one look at the actually really interesting bottles that back home he would probably collect the empties of and display but here knows that they'll need to be reused, realizes he has even less idea what any of them are than he would in a bar back home, and decides to ask the bartender. When he does speak... his voice is low and kind of hard to hear, regardless of how much background noise there is.]
Hey, um, are any of those sake, mead, or vodka?
[For everyone else:
New guy. At the farthest table. Watching the goings-on and taking occasional sips from a glass. Alone. Go say hi.]

Open to All!
Ippo had left without a word nearly two weeks ago after his chat with Zuko. He was uncentered, unfocused, and at best a danger to others as well as himself. He had needed to isolate himself, to properly contemplate himself and his place at the Bastion; as well as to further hone his skills against the beasts of the wilds, and it showed on his person.
He was fortunate enough to have found a discarded gasfella cloak on the ground during his travels, and with his shirt having been utterly destroyed, he had opted to wear it and found that it was large enough to keep him warm. It did leave his shoulders and arms exposed, showing that he had three jagged scars running from the top of his right shoulder and down behind the cloak, possibly stopping at his chest; even under his left eye could be seen a rather straight looking scar that stopped just short of his ear. His hair looked even longer now, painting a messy picture that almost completely covered his eyes, and over all he just seemed...bigger, his muscles compact, but now bulging against his skin without any help from him whatsoever.
Much to his surprise, there seemed to be a festival going on...or at least there was a party of some sort. The boxer walked up to the makeshift bar that Georges had set up and gave a wave to the friendly bartender, taking the nearest seat that was available with an exhausted sigh.]
I think...I'll have a Hearty Punch, if we still have some of that left.
[After all those cold nights out in the bushes...he could use something that would warm him up.]
Apart from that though...what's got everyone so festive? Did I miss something?

He gives Georges a grin.

Something that doesn't burn that much would be great.
[ Because coughing is still very uncomfortable.
Drink in hand, the knight settles sort of in the middle of the tables. ]

Well, he wanted to set some things right, but a little liquid courage could do anyone some good, really. At least he didn't look like a corpse anymore, washed and combed. His hair was still loose, flowing around him in a black sheet, but he didn't feel like asking anyone for help with it and was just grateful to be on his own two feet.

Open to all and terribly late.
She still hadn't found a dollhouse tea set to have a cup.
She unfurled her paper and put it on the ground to scribble on it with her pencil, looking vaguely like a human would with a mop.

Kids in generally shouldn't drink but like Georges is paying attention to that little fact.
Luckily for Haruka, though, he was insistent enough that alcohol would probably kill him and Colin would probably kill Georges for it that the barkeep willingly handed him something non alcoholic.
So the messy haired teenager (finally in clothes that wasn't a hospital tunic, but still probably a size too big) can be found enjoying his drink quietly in a corner.
Not because he's being antisocial. Because hes drawing the crowd and the various faces within it.]

As usual, Hikaru's uncertainty gets translated into obnoxiousness. He'll be hanging over people's shoulders and getting in the way of just about everyone, and that includes the guy at the bar. Hopefully Georges won't be too upset by a red-haired brat winding up on his side of the bar, poking at the drinks.]
