Let the Festival Begin [Day 143 | Day 144]
Who: EVERYONE
Open: Open
When: Day 143 & 144
Where: All over the Bastion
What: The first two days of the Harvest Festival
Format Any
Warnings: None
For the past week or so, it may feel like to some that the Bastion is gearing up for something. And not anything bad, either. Something good and oh so needed. It's not just the people, the Caels and the Ura that are aware of what the coming days would mean if the world was still intact. It's like the very Bastion itself has suddenly gained new life, and there's a power over it that's greater than any person, creature or Core.
Anyone who is still awake as dawn breaks over the Bastion may find themselves inexplicably tired for no reason at all, and unable to give in to an intense need to close their eyes, just for a moment.
When everyone wakes, and I do mean everyone, the Bastion will be transformed. Decorations, lights strung across every angle, wreaths, tables with colorful cloths over them, streamers and banners and so much stuff just seemingly out of nowhere! The entire Bastion, suddenly a vibrant, beautiful place for a celebration. And not just any celebration.

[Zulf grimaces when he feels her slam into the wall, fingers twitching back to press against his palm. Immediately he starts to make his way down, trying to keep an eye on Rin to make sure she's doing okay.]
no subject
Wow, Rin.
She's breathing at least, but there's a good deal of blood on in the dirt beneath her. It won't last long - if Zulf touches her, she'll probably wake up.]
no subject
Rin?

Rin lets out a harsh cough and a groan, sitting up with a good deal of blood coming down the side of her face from a nice gash on her forehead. Wincing, she coughs again, only adding to the blood. A hand grips at her side, one eye closed as she lets out a shaking breath.]
... think I broke somethin'.
no subject
That would not be surprising in the least. Just relax your body and breathe deep. We'll get you up in a moment.
[The sight of blood doesn't seem to much perturb him. He just presents himself quite calmly.]
no subject
You and your hammer space, ZulfThere's another groan, a good deal of stinging and throbbing where she cut her head. She closes both eyes then, leaning her head back a little. Wow, she hasn't been that dizzy in a while. Demon or not, some hits can really knock her on her ass pretty well.]
I'll... heal eventually, it's just gonna take a bit...
no subject
Skirt space, get it right][Zulf gives a shake of his head, but doesn't deny that idea. She's clearly not Ura or Cael, so who knows what she can do?]
Let's get you out of the ring, then. Where do you think you have something broken?
no subject
:|Well if the flames and tail didn't tip you off the face that her cut is already starting to mend at the edges is a huge red flag towards that.
She would nod if she could without getting blood all over, but she pressing a finger in to her side gently only to yelp at her own touch.]
Ah-- r-ribs, definitely.
no subject
I'll help lift you from the other side, and then we'll get you just far enough so that you can lay down. Alright?
no subject
Y-yeah... thank you...
[Luckily, for as much muscle as she has, she's not terribly heavy.]
no subject
[Removing the handkerchief from her face, he adjusts himself until he can slip a hand around her uninjured side. With a grunt, he starts to bring the two of them up.]
no subject
Moving her out of the pen, though, doesn't prove to be too difficult. She'll need some bandages and about an hour or two lying down, but she'll survive.]

Rin listens to the tune as they go. It's a good distraction from what she's feeling, though that is starting to lessen even as they move.]
That's a pretty song...

I used to be in the church choir, growin' up. I kinda miss it...
no subject
[Speaking of... There's the hospital up ahead.]
no subject
Heh... okay. My voice probably sucks now, but it'd still be fun to learn.
no subject
Still doing alright?
[Because he's pushing in the doors, now, leading her inside.]

[A move in the wrong direction made her wince, but while her ribs remained injured her head was clearing up. The bleeding had stopped, though the gash would still need to be bandaged before long.]
Thanks for this... I'll be more careful next time.
no subject
[He tries to guide her to the nearest proper room he can find- so long as there's something to lay her down on that won't be too uncomfortable, it'll do.]
no subject
Yeah well...
[She's still going to do it again.]
no subject
Still going to try another day?
no subject
I told you, me and Pyth got a score to settle.
no subject
[He brushes away her hair and starts to clean up the blood that's there.]
