Let the Festival Begin [Day 143 | Day 144]
Who: EVERYONE
Open: Open
When: Day 143 & 144
Where: All over the Bastion
What: The first two days of the Harvest Festival
Format Any
Warnings: None
For the past week or so, it may feel like to some that the Bastion is gearing up for something. And not anything bad, either. Something good and oh so needed. It's not just the people, the Caels and the Ura that are aware of what the coming days would mean if the world was still intact. It's like the very Bastion itself has suddenly gained new life, and there's a power over it that's greater than any person, creature or Core.
Anyone who is still awake as dawn breaks over the Bastion may find themselves inexplicably tired for no reason at all, and unable to give in to an intense need to close their eyes, just for a moment.
When everyone wakes, and I do mean everyone, the Bastion will be transformed. Decorations, lights strung across every angle, wreaths, tables with colorful cloths over them, streamers and banners and so much stuff just seemingly out of nowhere! The entire Bastion, suddenly a vibrant, beautiful place for a celebration. And not just any celebration.

I'll help lift you from the other side, and then we'll get you just far enough so that you can lay down. Alright?

Y-yeah... thank you...
[Luckily, for as much muscle as she has, she's not terribly heavy.]

[Removing the handkerchief from her face, he adjusts himself until he can slip a hand around her uninjured side. With a grunt, he starts to bring the two of them up.]

Moving her out of the pen, though, doesn't prove to be too difficult. She'll need some bandages and about an hour or two lying down, but she'll survive.]

Rin listens to the tune as they go. It's a good distraction from what she's feeling, though that is starting to lessen even as they move.]
That's a pretty song...

I used to be in the church choir, growin' up. I kinda miss it...

[Speaking of... There's the hospital up ahead.]
no subject
Heh... okay. My voice probably sucks now, but it'd still be fun to learn.
no subject
Still doing alright?
[Because he's pushing in the doors, now, leading her inside.]

[A move in the wrong direction made her wince, but while her ribs remained injured her head was clearing up. The bleeding had stopped, though the gash would still need to be bandaged before long.]
Thanks for this... I'll be more careful next time.

[He tries to guide her to the nearest proper room he can find- so long as there's something to lay her down on that won't be too uncomfortable, it'll do.]
no subject
Yeah well...
[She's still going to do it again.]
no subject
Still going to try another day?
no subject
I told you, me and Pyth got a score to settle.
no subject
[He brushes away her hair and starts to clean up the blood that's there.]
no subject
[Even if she is a demon, that still stings, and she hisses between her teeth.]
no subject
[He continues his work as he talks, placing a bandage about the head wound. He's not certain what to do for the ribs except perhaps not touch them.]
no subject
I guess I'm more used to dealin' with stuff that I actually gotta chase and catch.
no subject
[He finally pulls his hands back, satisfied with the job he's done.]
There, hopefully that will be good enough until it... heals on its own, I suppose.
no subject
Yeah I should be fine by tomorrow...

Though he never asked about the tail or the flames either...]
... yeah. Thanks.
no subject
It's no problem. Just focus on resting for now.
[Picking up his skirts a bit, he makes his way out of the room and returns just a few moments later, making sure to set a couple of small plastic cups in arms reach of Rin- just in case.]
