For the past week or so, it may feel like to some that the Bastion is gearing up for something. And not anything bad, either. Something good and oh so needed. It's not just the people, the Caels and the Ura that are aware of what the coming days would mean if the world was still intact. It's like the very Bastion itself has suddenly gained new life, and there's a power over it that's greater than any person, creature or Core.

Anyone who is still awake as dawn breaks over the Bastion may find themselves inexplicably tired for no reason at all, and unable to give in to an intense need to close their eyes, just for a moment.

When everyone wakes, and I do mean everyone, the Bastion will be transformed. Decorations, lights strung across every angle, wreaths, tables with colorful cloths over them, streamers and banners and so much stuff just seemingly out of nowhere! The entire Bastion, suddenly a vibrant, beautiful place for a celebration. And not just any celebration.

[He hadn't even realized that the keyblade wielder really affected anything, but then he and Axel had switched bodies, the topic had come up... Yeah.]

He did. It was quite painful, as well.

[He rubs at the area on his chest where he remembers being struck.]

[Not that... he's much of an expert on that... Roxas, he likes the way you think right now, more booze.]

Isn't it different with you guys? If you always remembered being Isa, then- changing was slower, like with people. Normal people.

[croceamors]

Mmm. [After another drink, Saix ends up finding himself unfortunately honest.] Might've been- different. With me.

[Good, let's have a tipsy heart-to-heart.]

There's a... [Wow how does he explain this. How does he explain this while slipping into intoxication.] Something. Something was in me that wasn't me.

[Nailed it.]

[Roxas looks hard at him as though he's going to be able to see this "something."]

I don't know what that means but it sounds scary.

[croceamors]

[Well, he can see a part of that "something"...]

Mm. I don't even know how long it's been trying to make me... not me. More than I already was.

[He doesn't know what he's looking for okay.]

Well- Axel still thinks you're you. I think.

[croceamors]

[That does make it slightly trickier.]

I know he does. [Saix sighs and presses the bottom of the bottle slightly to his forehead to feel the coolness of it.] He's stupid, sometimes. I guess I'm glad that he's doing so at me again, however.

Axel's great, even when he's stupid.

[Cue dumb fond look.]

Mmmm. Reliable like that.

Reliable? [Roxas nudges him with an elbow.] You're callin' him reliable?

Reliably stupid. He's dumb and ridiculous and... his hair is a mess...

[That gets an actual laugh out of Roxas.] R-reliably stupid... [Haha, it's kind of true.]

Mm, I like his hair though.

[croceamors]

[See??? He knows what he's talking about.]

I don't know if it's gotten worse or better as he's grown up... It used to go just... straight up.

I've seen it. I like it better now, it comes down, and it's soft.
