For the past week or so, it may feel like to some that the Bastion is gearing up for something. And not anything bad, either. Something good and oh so needed. It's not just the people, the Caels and the Ura that are aware of what the coming days would mean if the world was still intact. It's like the very Bastion itself has suddenly gained new life, and there's a power over it that's greater than any person, creature or Core.

Anyone who is still awake as dawn breaks over the Bastion may find themselves inexplicably tired for no reason at all, and unable to give in to an intense need to close their eyes, just for a moment.

When everyone wakes, and I do mean everyone, the Bastion will be transformed. Decorations, lights strung across every angle, wreaths, tables with colorful cloths over them, streamers and banners and so much stuff just seemingly out of nowhere! The entire Bastion, suddenly a vibrant, beautiful place for a celebration. And not just any celebration.

I see. When do you usually go?

Later in the day, if that means anything when "cloudy" is what passes for nighttime. It takes some of the fun out of skinny dipping.

It is annoying... I don't much care for the lack of a moon. It feels like I'm missing a limb.

Still, I'll try and keep that in mind then.

We need the moon for me to bring out that state so, no, no kinky berserker sex.

How many of those shards do you think it would take to fix that?

1,500 to 2000 shards.

[The answer is given almost immediately. Yeah, he's done the math already before this conversation. Yeah, he's been planning for this for a while.]

Well, that's discouraging. You're probably going to need help with that.

That would make things simpler for me... It's simply a matter of finding someone who would put in shards to help make a moon.

I guess for something like that I might consider finding a sword.

I'd offer you mine while I attempt to learn how to use my new gun, but I'm afraid I'm not sure if you could lift it.

....When you put it like that, it sounds worse than it really is. But yes. Is a gun any better, or just as much of a phallic symbol?

I don't have much experience with guns, but being able to lift it would work in its favor.

I'll have my Berserker bring it to you after this whole event has died down, then.

[He waves his hand, and after a moment, a portal opens up. From out of it steps his Berserker Nobody, very VERY carefully holding an army carbine in its hands.]

[Anya gives a start, but she doesn't look particularly alarmed by what steps through.]

Oh, that. I've seen it around. Doesn't it have a name or something?

It's a Berserker Nobody, but it doesn't have a proper name. Lesser Nobodies like it can't remember as much of their old lives like the main Organization could.

I don't know. At least for ease of reference, you might consider it.

[She peers up at it.]

I take it it doesn't speak.

[The Berserker peers back. At least... Presumably. Sort of hard to tell without... eyes...]

It can communicate telepathically, but I'm unsure if that's restricted to other Nobodies. I suppose it's something to consider.

... I'm getting nothing, but it seems sort of the stoic type.

I'm glad for that. Some of the other Lesser Nobodies were... twitchy.
