Day 134(+135?) | Dry Lightning
Who: Tris, Briar, Rosethorn, and EVERYONE IN BASTION. Yes. All of you. Including the dragon. They will find you c:
OPEN
Where: All over the bastion. There will be a note on the monument, then Tris/Briar/Rosethorn may just come find your character (If that is all right-)
When: Day 134, (135 if needed-)
What: After the events of that gathering and the arrival of one of their teachers, the Winding Circle mages think everyone needs to meditate. Its a good idea. It will help. Really. And no, they don't plan on giving much of a choice.
Format: Will match!
Warnings: Will edit if any are needed!
It starts with a plate of cookies (The ones Tris pretty much always makes), and a piece of paper stuck out by the monument. The paper shows a figure, with an upset face and leaking lines of some sort, then the figure settled in a circle in what should be a fairly standard meditation seat, then the figure again, although this time with a smile and no leaking lines. Completely clear, right?
It gets a little more vague. This looks like the shape of the Bastion, with a bunch of figures in it. One even looks like a dragon. The figures are all inside a circle right after that. Is that clear? No?
Well, there are three mages looking to talk to the residents of the Bastion today. Tris, Briar, or Rosethorn can explain. And they intend to explain to everyone why its a good idea.
(OOC: You can : Pick a location and a mage (in the headline) if you prefer one, or just a location and whoever is on will jump at you.

Hosptial - Tris
She didn't get lost or anything, and she's not deliberately hiding. But she is kind of... hiding.
Tris might need to poke around and ask a few people if they know where Rin is at, but eventually if she searches and questions enough she'll be directed to the hospital where there is, indeed, one tailed half demon huddled beneath a massive pile of blankets.]

So this is why the redhead ends up studying the blanket pile. Sure, it took her a bit, but...
Well, she doesn't look impressed. ]
If you're sick, my brother and his teacher are healers. The kind that have a bunch of medicines, and know how to use them.

I'unno what's wrong with me... I've never been sick before...

Monument - Any Mage Will Do

Hey. Do you know what meditation is?
[He could've sworn the drawing was clearer, but looking at it again...Maybe not.]
It's what the drawing was supposed to be about, but...I guess isn't not that clear, huh.
[It made perfect sense to them earlier! But he supposes that not everyone knows Tris sparks lightning when she doesn't meditate.]
no subject
[Colin actually did. He's used to warning signs and pictograms depicting telepathy, so these signs weren't all that far off, at least for him.]
Meditation is certainly pretty common where I'm from, between the priesthoods, the mages, and all the telepaths.
[He gives Briar a grin.]
So that's what this is all about, huh?
I actually wanted to track you down a little while ago, but... well, coming back from the campus was a bit of a pain.
[He sighs, and waves that off.]
But that can come later. I'm interested in seeing what the meditation exercises are for.

Near the entrance to the Skyway - surprise me
no subject
No, that's not something he should think about. Evvy's fine. Rosethorn's here now, so Evvy has to be fine. Somewhere.
What do you mean denial? Time to call out to this person who he has no idea who is!]
Hey, you want a cookie?
[Food's always a good bet with cats.]
Monument - open to whoever!
Whatever the message, she might as well snack on some of those cookies while she's pondering.]
Near Skyway - Anyone will do
However, she knew that, yes, that was soon to change! Yes, she would just need to get hold of a weapon. There were a few in her mind already. Of course, another problem reared its head quickly.
Indecision.
She badly needed advice. Whether or not she could get it remained to be seen. Also, something to take the edge off would probably help, but she will deny it strongly.]
no subject
Seeing someone near the Skyway, Rosethorn prefaces her meditation talk by calling out a question.] Are you coming or going?
[She wouldn't want to keep anyone from something that needs doing; the meditation talk can be postponed if Patchouli is on her way out.]
GODDAMN I AM A SLOW TAGGER SORRY ):
Functionally? Coming. I just happened to be in the area and decided to look out again. Pondering my usefulness, I guess.
[Because really,s he wasn't sure she felt it anymore, but since arriving, she felt that she really couldn't just hide in a personal library -- whether she were nudged in that direction or not.]
I AM WORSE RIGHT NOW, SO SORRY
IT'S OKAY, I FORGOT I DIDN'T REPLY TO THIS
Monument - open

"Its not terribly clear to anyone who doesn't know what my magic is, and I could have sworn he was a better artist. Maybe he grows into that." Remembering how skittish Crona was, Tris talks as she walks up.

Monument - any
Still, he makes his usual rounds for the day, and eventually comes across the monument and its drawing. The cookies look inviting, but he hasn't been specifically offered any, so he keeps his hands to himself. Floette floats just above his shoulder, and they both examine the drawing.
... It's a little hard to miss them, given his massive height.
no subject
way way upat AZ to address him. There are so many things she's never encountered before. Rosethorn hasn't entirely gotten over the wonder in it despite her homesickness. Tris's living glass dragon Chime is a prime example; even from her own world, there are new things she's found since coming here. Questions about Floette can wait, though. "You can eat them, but the drawing shows what we're asking in exchange. Have you heard of meditation?"Don't think for a minute that he'll escape without hearing.
no subject
He's tried - but all that ever comes to him is the suffering of his people, his own anger, and images of the desolation he caused.
I'm so sorry about the wait.
No worries. <3
Near the Skyway - open
[Today wasn't a particularly successful day, but even with that he's managed an alright haul. He sits down, and after counting them just lies back to stare up at the sky.]
[Hm... it might be close to time to rest...]

River - Anyone
Rikki took a cookie, sniffed it, and wandered off toward the river. Almost a week and she's still not used to being so far from the ocean. She's explored the Skyway a little, looked around the Bastion, and tried to find anyplace comfortable that wasn't near the river. Because, as a girl with a secret, dangling the secret for anyone to find is a bad idea.
But she was a fish, out of water, and she really missed it.
no subject
Rustling of grass and leaves announces her approach, if Rikki's paying attention, as the vegetation in the area leans toward Rosethorn. "You didn't like my boy's drawing?"

hospital - anyone<3
They couldn't. It wasn't a disease. As far as the healers could tell, Zelda was perfectly healthy, suffering from nothing more than dehydration and muscle stiffness. But they felt something was still wrong, as did Zelda. She could feel some sort of "wrongness" within her, but could not identify its source. She felt no different than she ever had, except for that nagging feeling in the back of her mind.
Although the healers knew that Zelda was physically well enough to leave the hospital, she was still mentally fragile. She slept as much as possible to avoid the knowledge that Hyrule was gone, but it haunted her nightmares anyway. The Calamity had been explained to Zelda, but all she ever saw were Shadow beasts overtaking her castle and consuming the defenseless souls of her people. Awake, Zelda had no appetite and no will to leave her hospital bed. Even grief was beyond her grasp; she was trapped in numb disbelief.
Anyone who could see or sense magic would probably be able to find Zelda pretty quickly. Thanks to the power of her gods existing within her, no doubt Zelda radiated magic like a lighthouse.
SORRY ABOUT THE SUPER LATE (kick to the butt via tris-)
That light was not silver-white, as Rosethorn would blaze when she used her power, but white-silver, indicating.. well, did they have another great mage here? But it didn't seem like there was a spell going on, so why was the glow so bright? Altering that part of her magic so that it was more like a candle rather than the sun, she stomps over to the door.
Good, its unlocked. She didn't need to pause to unlock it.
"Is there a reason you're radiating magic? Are you trying to blind any mage who can see?" Tris takes in after she starts that she's addressing someone who doesn't exactly look human, but as the weather witch has already talked to dragons, halfdemons, and a youth with blood that talks, the young woman's appearance doesn't get so much as a blink.
