Day 134(+135?) | Dry Lightning

Where: All over the bastion. There will be a note on the monument, then Tris/Briar/Rosethorn may just come find your character (If that is all right-)
When: Day 134, (135 if needed-)
What: After the events of that gathering and the arrival of one of their teachers, the Winding Circle mages think everyone needs to meditate. Its a good idea. It will help. Really. And no, they don't plan on giving much of a choice.

It starts with a plate of cookies (The ones Tris pretty much always makes), and a piece of paper stuck out by the monument. The paper shows a figure, with an upset face and leaking lines of some sort, then the figure settled in a circle in what should be a fairly standard meditation seat, then the figure again, although this time with a smile and no leaking lines. Completely clear, right?

It gets a little more vague. This looks like the shape of the Bastion, with a bunch of figures in it. One even looks like a dragon. The figures are all inside a circle right after that. Is that clear? No?

Well, there are three mages looking to talk to the residents of the Bastion today. Tris, Briar, or Rosethorn can explain. And they intend to explain to everyone why its a good idea.

Oh. Now it might be a little bit clearer. The enclosing circle looks like something Crona saw once before, the magic stolen by the wolfman from Mabaa herself.

"It's spatial magic?"

"No, although that sounds fascinating." Trying to think of that gets a bit of a blank, though. Not the point of the moment-

"The circle is a precaution in meditation. What its trying to show is that I'm particularly grumpy and foul tempered to the point of leaking magic prior to meditating, and I'm clearly much more capable of holding a conversation after I've meditated."

A brief pause, as Crona tries to decide if the most obvious assumption is the right one.

"He thinks we all need to learn to meditate like you?"

[stormsinbraids]

"The three of us do - me, my brother, and one of our teachers." A little bit of an encouraging smile. Right answer.

"Even if magic is different, or if people don't have it at all, it also does wonders for tempers." Which.. is probably why Tris meditates very regularly.

Crona considers the suggestion for a few moments, then sighs.

"Ragnarok wouldn't do it. So it wouldn't do any good for me to try."

[stormsinbraids]

Tris thinks about that for a moment.

"I can see your point." Ragnarok didn't... seem like the sort to make that easy at all. "Do you have things to do that make it so the two of you... get along better? I'd probably call that close enough."

"Not really." Crona looks away from Tris, listening to someone the mage can't hear. "Sometimes fighting."

[stormsinbraids]

"Sounds like a form of focus gets you two to get along. At least, that's what I'd call fighting." Both of them focusing on staying alive, or just taking something out.

"Do you want me to think of more ways that might work, to see if you can get along better? I don't mind spending time doing so."

"We're partners, you know? Our souls are fine together. We just argue a lot since he's a bully."
