[SO. After a long time of hermitting and working, Nathaniel finally comes out of his home to discuss something with everyone.]

I think I might have a solution to our problem. You know, the one about what to do once we find those last two cores.

[The first person who comments can go out to the fields just outside the Bastion and find an envelope stuck to a tree with a knife, which can then be subsequently brought back to the Bastion for discussion.

After all of the above stuff happens (if Colin participates in any of it), he will be able to get a video of someone in a cloak sneaking in to the storehouse. The cloak obscures their face and makes it difficult to see who it is, but this person is quite short.

And they are stealing compasses. Lots of them.]

Responding to the letter [Closed to those invited]

[Following the events of this thread, Rob and Ryu fan out to find the people who Colin suggested would be most helpful in planning a response, those people being Paarthurnax, Zulf, Otoha, Ghaleon, and Zuko, with Colin already there and Rob and Ryu just hanging around for now and maybe having Opinions.

Once everyone has gathered at the Monument, Rob glances around and realizes that he's probably the best one to start this meeting off, even if he's really only there for moral support. It should perhaps be noted that he's still shirtless, with the ugly scars clearly visible on his left cheek and shoulder, but those details are at best going to be no more than distractions from the issue at hand. Desperately trying not to think about the fact that he's doing the dreaded Public Speaking, he looks down at his datapad and does his best to speak up.]

So, uh, now that the Avengers are all assembled, um, Ryu found a letter outside the Bastion, held to a tree with a knife. It's in English, and says "Bring the two you have captured to the lagoon in seven days. If you comply, we will not harm you. If you do not, we will burn the camp to the ground." Nothing else.

[He looks up, trying not to actually look at the group he's addressing.]

So, um, you guys are here to try and work out what we're gonna do about this.
