[SO. After a long time of hermitting and working, Nathaniel finally comes out of his home to discuss something with everyone.]

I think I might have a solution to our problem. You know, the one about what to do once we find those last two cores.

[The first person who comments can go out to the fields just outside the Bastion and find an envelope stuck to a tree with a knife, which can then be subsequently brought back to the Bastion for discussion.

HMM I WONDER WHAT THIS COULD BE]

After all of the above stuff happens (if Colin participates in any of it), he will be able to get a video of someone in a cloak sneaking in to the storehouse. The cloak obscures their face and makes it difficult to see who it is, but this person is quite short.

And they are stealing compasses. Lots of them.]

[Ryu is a very early morning person. He doesn't like the night, so at the first crack of 'dawn' he's up and moving, heading out towards the Skyway.]

[... But he doesn't get far this morning before he spots the envelope and knife. He heads over to it and pulls the knife out, frowning. Who would do that to a tree? But this looks important.]

[... He glances at the envelope, trying to see if there's anything legible on it.]

[Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you...]

[And just because you installed one camera... doesn't mean that you didn't install others. As a matter of fact, there's three cameras inside. One visible camera in the corner... One concealed camera above the door ... And one camera on a shelf. In a teddy bear's eye. You just got Nanny-cam'd.]

[Wow rude, in the teddy bear and all.

the one above the door unfortunately doesn't catch anything, because this person is short and they have the cloak hood drawn well over their face.

The teddy bear nanny cam, however, does catch a face. The cloaked person who is grabbing compasses is Blue Anna.]

[Nope, nothing on the outside of it! But the envelope seems to be sealed shut via knife, there's no wax seal or glue or anything holding it shut.'

[He'll just open up the letter to check it. There might be something dangerous on it and he's pretty good at resisting stuff.]

Bring the two you have captured to the lagoon in seven days.

[He squints at it, looks at it, and frowns.]

[Some of these words look like words from the Eastern Kingdoms but not totally and...]

[... nope. No luck. He folds the letter back up and heads back into the Bastion. Someone here's gotta be able to read this!]

[Colin frowns, and he races out of his workshop. He's right near the forge, so he runs over there.]

STEWART! Storehouse with me! NOW! Thief in action! ... Don't bring a weapon, you won't need it!

[And with that, he's racing across the compound looking for one person. Dammit, Zuko, where are you?]

ZUKO! THIEF IN MOTION! HATE ME LATER!

[Yep, she sure did hear that. But- could she be sure she heard correctly? A thief? ...for that matter, she heard Zuko's name too. What's going on?]

[Maybe she should run right on up and get some clarification going here.]

[In an astonishingly convenient coincidence, the first person Ryu will see upon returning to the Bastion is one of the handful of people who know English. Rob hasn't noticed Ryu yet, likely related to the fact that he looks kind of sleepy and is yawning. He's also shirtless, very white where his tank top usually is, and has prominent and ugly scars on his left shoulder and left cheek. He doesn't look like he's busy with anything at the moment though.]

[Ippo stopped mid-run when he heard Colin shouting and the word "Thief" was more than enough to get the boxer to start hauling behind after his friend.]

You found the thief?!

[Well, that sure wasn't what he'd expected to happen today, but here he was and taking care of this would take a whole lot of weight off a lot of people's minds.]

[Damn it, Colin, what part of don't speak to me are you not understanding? The sound of that shout renews all of her desires to punch him hard in the face.

But because he's probably not completely stupid, she assumes it's important and heads for the storehouse anyway.

She will absolutely hate him later, though. And now. It's a constant hate. She doesn't say anything because she's busy clenching her teeth.]

[He's going to make them all agree? Must be some magical coercion going on there.]

[Not saying anything yet, but nonetheless making it a point to be here for this discussion. It's quite relevant to her concerns.]

[Who let this girl in here? From her body language, it's like River accidentally wandered in, and she barely glances at either of the two prisoners.

No, the first thing she does is walk over to one wall and place her hand on it. She draws it back sharply to inspect her finger as though she pricked it on something, but there's no sign that she's hurt at all.]

[Believe it or not, Zuko, while he does hate you, he also thinks you're one of the most capable people in the Bastion. You get held to a higher standard. Lucky you, huh?]

[He turns and races to the Storehouse then, hoping that Stewart will meet them there, and he nods in acknowledgement to Ippo and Ikuri, though it may be a little difficult to see what with the running.]

Caught her red-handed. Do NOT attack her. It's Stewart's daughter.

[It would stand to reason that you wouldn't want a thief slipping away, but we have to be certain this is what you want.]

[He wanted to ask why, but his better judgement told him that Colin probably didn't have that answer yet. Best to keep things quick here.]

That doesn't make any sense...there's gotta be some kind of reason!

[He gave Ikuri a side-eye, hoping that detain just meant blocking exits without doing anything physical.]

[Stewart seems just as surprised about it as everyone else. And as soon as he hears that, he is marching over to go open the door.

...or he would be, if the door wasn't already open. Anna booked it when Colin started yelling for help.]

We don't harm her, we just don't let her escape. Hopefully Stewart will be able to help. HOPEFULLY.

[He glances at Ippo as he approaches the storehouse.]

There are MANY reasons it may have happened. None of them are good, but some of them may direct blame elsewhere.

[Yeah, he kinda figured this might happen, but he's got cameras everywhere. She won't get far.]

[Megaera has put this off for too long because of mun difficulties, but now... If she's not going to succeed as a Wizard, she'll damn well try to succeed as a Succubus. And right now, that means getting as much information from them as possible. Having them separated before the arrives, she walks in towards Red's cell. As soon as she is in sight of her, she's quietly using her Charm Monster spell-like; if Red fails to resist (I'd say she's got anywhere from a 10-30% chance of resisting, depending on her willpower), she'll perceive Megaera as a trusted friend against her usual judgment.]
