[So hey. There's this girl. She's been in this place for a while, helped out with a lot of things, and today she got to help do something awesome! Cores are important to the Bastion after all, so that's a good thing.

Except she kind of... lit herself on fire and a lot of people saw it.

Anyone want to talk to her about that?

In all seriousness, Rin can be found after all that hubbub taking a break near the apartments, outside because she really doesn't want to be in her room right now. She's nursing a bit of a wound on her thigh from sliding on her legs under the bird earlier, but whatever road rash she got from doing so is starting to fade finally. Her sword is lying next to her in the grass, and she's just on her back, watching the odd sky above the Bastion quietly.

Mostly because her ears are still kind of ringing from what Crona did.

Ringing ears won't stop her from holding a conversation, though, if anyone cares to bother her, and she's in a decent mood given their accomplishments.]

[Ragnarok pops up out of Crona's back with a toothy grin.]

[Crona shifts weight from one foot to the other.]

I... um... I like pasta.

Eheh. Hi Ragnarok.

[Food apparently makes him not hate Rin?]

Pasta might take a while... we got the farm so we're gonna have to grow wheat and make it from scratch. But uhm... hey, as a thank you for tellin' me about that, what if I worked on makin' you a special pasta dinner soon?

Just make something that doesn't suck!

[Crona looks a little bit overwhelmed.]

... f-f-f-f-for me? [Definitely having trouble with that first sound there, and Crona's cheeks go gray with a blush.]

Y-you're really nice! You're too nice to people...

Nah, I ain't that nice. You just think that' cause you just met me!

[Rin grins, a big dopey grin and points a finger at Ragnarok]

Just you watch. You're gonna be blow away by what I can do.

[Crona curls up, face hidden behind pale hands.]

No, you're really too nice. I don't know what to do when people are so nice.

Uhm.

[Damn it.]

... well don't think of it as being nice then?

[blackblooded]

N-no, it's... really... good. [Crona's kind of crying, just a little. Everything's been overwhelming for Crona in the past few days, and it's hitting all at once.]

Y-you're a really good person.

[hellpyre]

Ah--...

[Rin really does feel bad about Crona being upset, but she also figures with the way Crona acts, touching even with a reassuring head pat or shoulder touch might be a bit too much to handle right now.

She inches a little closer, though, at least offering comfort via proximity.]

I think you're a good person too, Crona.

[blackblooded]

[A shuddering noise, like a gasp or a sob.

No, Crona's not a good person. But Crona does try, so maybe one day Crona will be a good person.]

[Okay no, she can't just sit there and do nothing. Carefully she loops her arms around Crona and pulls them close.]

Sorry...

[Crona stiffens, but doesn't shove Rin away.]

'm not a good person. I'm... a really bad person.

I used to think that 'bout myself. But when I made friends they showed me different. And sometimes good people do bad things, for a lot of reasons, so I whatever makes you think you are I'm sure your friends don't think so.

[blackblooded]

[A shake of the head.]

No... I... I'm a bad person, but that's... that's not something I can change. My... friends still... like me.

[hellpyre]

Well... isn't that the important thing then? That your friends like you? Friends are important, y'know. I went a long time without friends but I'unno what I'd do if I didn't have them now.

[blackblooded]

[A nod.]

T-they're really good people.

[hellpyre]

They are.

[All the hugging, Crona]

[Crona's hands very cautiously slide up and cling to Rin's shirt. A few more seconds, and Crona pulls back, scrubbing at eyes with the white cuff of one sleeve.]

[Ragnarok had vanished back into Crona when Rin started hugging, and now he's just keeping up the commentary. It's not very flattering.]

Good. I'm glad.

[Ragnarok can stuff it.]

You like cooking?

Mhm! I lived with a bunch of guys and my sister and no one really knew how to cook, so I taught myself.

Are you good?

I like to think so! And my friends like my food. That's what's important to me - if people like it, I'm happy.

[Crona nods.
