Day 255 [Open] First rule of Pillow Fight Club: Never talk about Pillow Fight Club

What: Ibuki's bored and is attacking everybody with pillows
Format: Action but ok with switching
Warnings: Pillow abuse


[Sometime after lunch, Ibuki's voice will ring out from everybody's amulet that is within the Bastion's communication range-]

IBUKI IS DECLARING IT NOW. THIS. IS. PILLOW WAR!!!!!!!

[Ibuki will not be responding to amulet network messages that reply to her]

[Rather, she is running around with a bunch of pillows. Should she spot you, prepare yourelf, for she could do a number of things]

[1: Should you not notice her, she'll try to sneak up behind you and bop you on the back of the head with a pillow. If it looks like you're in the middle of important work, it'll be a very soft bop]

[2: If you're watching her, she'll run up to you and try to pillow bop your face]

[3: There is no 3]

[4: She may be hiding around a corner, and when you get close... "BWAH!" Pillow to the face!]

[5: Even dragons aren't safe from pillows.]

[6: If she knows you fairly well, especially if you're a member of her band, she might be coming into your bedroom directly to pillow fight you.]

[She offers a pillow again]

[Zuko takes it this time, still a little unsure. Why is she agreeing to this? It's ridiculous. But hitting someone with a pillow for a few minutes isn't going to kill her.]

Here we go, Zuko-chan!

This. Is. Pillow fight!!!!!

[And... she's bopping Zuko with her own pillow, laughing happily]

[Zuko tries to fend her off and... counterattack? with her pillow. This has got to be the most unwieldy and ineffective weapon she's ever used.]

Kyaaa~ Ibuki's been hit!

[hurray pillow fighting!]

It's fun, right? Is Zuko-chan having fun?

No.

[At least she's honest. She never seems to get what other people do for fun. She tries hitting Ibuki again. Is this supposed to be stress relief? You get to hit someone repeatedly without doing any real harm?]

[Zuko's response lets her get in a hit on Ibuki... not that Ibuki was making much effort to dodge, anyway]

Huh? Huh? Really? Not even a little bit, Zuko-chan?

...I'm not very good at fun.

[She's sure that comes as a surprise.]

But you have to have fun sometime, Zuko-chan! All work and no play is no fun!

[There's no enthusiasm in that response. Guess who repeatedly skipped out on 'music night' to hide in her room.]

Uwah... well, well, you haven't heard Ibuki's music!

Let Ibuki serenade you! You'll wait for Ibuki to get her guitar, right? Right?

[Ibuki your favorite genre isn't serenading...]

I guess.

[She's not sure what a guitar is but she gets the feeling Ibuki would just track her down later anyway.]

[Let's just say they're near an electric outlet for convenience sake, because Ibuki rushes off and soon returns with her electric guitar; before plugging it in and tuning her instrument]

Get ready, Zuko-chan! This is Ibuki's favorite song! She calls it, "Let my feelings reach you too!"

[Zuko is not willing to listen to that all the way through.]

Stop, stop! That isn't music!

Oooh... this is the dreaded generation gap rearing its ugly head!

[Ibuki, you're around Zuko's age...]

What generation gap? We're the same age.

[Although if Zuko lived in Ibuki's world, she would definitely not have been from the same century.]

Huh? Really? Ohhh, you're probably right!

But then, Ibuki could be a lot older, she has no clue! But let's not talk about that, it's depressing!

Then... then it's cultural differences!

... Though, if Zuko-chan wants to hear a gentler tune, Ibuki could make an exception, just for you!

...I don't know. What's your definition of "gentler"?

Ooh, Zuko-chan... Ibuki will let you in on a little secret!

Ibuki can play all the genres from where she came from! Classical! J-pop! And that's just the tip of the ice berg! It's the largest iceberg ever, it's huge! She is the Super Ultimate Level Music Person, after all!

Ibuki knows that Death Metal isn't gentle! It's not gentle at all! Ibuki truly means it when she says something gentler!

[Well, with a name like "death metal"...]

All right. Let's hear it then.

[But if she doesn't like it, that's it, she's walking away. ... Giving the pillow back and walking away.]

Okay, Ibuki will do her best! Here we go!

[and she performs this song. Since she only has a guitar, the song isn't quite complete, but she still does a rather good rendition of it for what she has to work with]

[This is still completely different from anything Zuko's heard before, but she doesn't stop Ibuki this time since it is, she supposes, gentler. Just... surprisingly upbeat.]

I guess you can sing.

Oooh, Zuko-chan, come on, come on, you should have a more enthusiastic response than that!
