Day 255 [Open] First rule of Pillow Fight Club: Never talk about Pillow Fight Club

When: Mostly noon/afternoon.
Where: Everywhere in the Bastion.
What: Ibuki's bored and is attacking everybody with pillows
Format: Action but ok with switching
Warnings: Pillow abuse


[Sometime after lunch, Ibuki's voice will ring out from everybody's amulet that is within the Bastion's communication range-]

IBUKI IS DECLARING IT NOW. THIS. IS. PILLOW WAR!!!!!!!

[Ibuki will not be responding to amulet network messages that reply to her]

[Rather, she is running around with a bunch of pillows. Should she spot you, prepare yourelf, for she could do a number of things]

[1: Should you not notice her, she'll try to sneak up behind you and bop you on the back of the head with a pillow. If it looks like you're in the middle of important work, it'll be a very soft bop]

[2: If you're watching her, she'll run up to you and try to pillow bop your face]

[3: There is no 3]

[4: She may be hiding around a corner, and when you get close... "BWAH!" Pillow to the face!]

[5: Even dragons aren't safe from pillows.]

[6: If she knows you fairly well, especially if you're a member of her band, she might be coming into your bedroom directly to pillow fight you.]

Ooh, Zuko-chan... Ibuki will let you in on a little secret!

Ibuki can play all the genres from where she came from! Classical! J-pop! And that's just the tip of the ice berg! It's the largest iceberg ever, it's huge! She is the Super Ultimate Level Music Person, after all!

Ibuki knows that Death Metal isn't gentle! It's not gentle at all! Ibuki truly means it when she says something gentler!

[Well, with a name like "death metal"...]

All right. Let's hear it then.

[But if she doesn't like it, that's it, she's walking away. ... Giving the pillow back and walking away.]

Okay, Ibuki will do her best! Here we go!

[and she performs this song. Since she only has a guitar, the song isn't quite complete, but she still does a rather good rendition of it for what she has to work with]

[This is still completely different from anything Zuko's heard before, but she doesn't stop Ibuki this time since it is, she supposes, gentler. Just... surprisingly upbeat.]

I guess you can sing.

Oooh, Zuko-chan, come on, come on, you should have a more enthusiastic response than that!

Something like... "Kyaaaaaa! Ibuki-chan, that was so cool!"

Try it, Zuko-chan! Let it all out!

[Zuko would fold her arms but she still has the stupid pillow.]

Ooh, don't be shy, Zuko-chan...

[And Ibuki bops Zuko with her pillow]

[Except she is, kind of. If you can be angrily shy.

Her retaliation is probably a little forceful for a bop.]

[Ibuki stumbles back from the hit]

Zuko-chan, Zuko-chan! That's a strong reaction! Ibuki's having a hard time believing you! Have at you!

[Despite Zuko gave her a harder hit, Ibuki's still using about the same amount of strength as before with her counter strike]

[What is it with these little bops?]

You can hit harder than that.

Huh? Why? Does Zuko-chan like being hit hard by Ibuki's pillow? Okay!

[She'll give Zuko a much harder thwap this time. Ibuki's stronger than she looks (what with all that energy she burns up each day), though certainly not dedicated athlete level]

[The thwap makes Zuko take a step back this time.]

If it's a fight, you should put some effort into it.

[Not that.. she can see any real way of winning said fight, but it shouldn't be half-assed, right? Who knows.]

Ah, I see, I see! Ibuki understands now.

You're one of the fight hungry types, aren't you, Zuko-chan?

I'm not fight-hungry.

To do less than you're able disrespects your opponent.

[Zuko, this is a pillow fight, not a duel, lighten up.

Oh wait how do you lighten up this is her problem.]

Zuko-chan, Zuko-chan, this isn't an honorable duel of respect! It's pillow fight!

Ibuki's not a proud warrior, she's the silliest musician of all! So silly that she challenged a warrior to a pillow duel!

... Pillow fight. It's not a duel, Zuko-chan!

Fine. You win.

[Zuko throws her pillow at Ibuki and turns to go in the other direction. What was she even thinking trying this stupid game?]

... Ooh. But it's not about winning... Ibuki didn't want to win like this, it's the worst win ever...

[Great, now she's making other people feel bad. Zuko stops, sighing.]

Look, I'm sorry, but you should just find someone who's actually good at it.

[scary_music]

Maybe, maybe...

Still, Zuko-chan, you say you're not good at having fun, but everybody can have fun! It's not good for you to work all the time! It'd be bad, you'll be all wound up and then, when you least expect it... BWAH! An explosion of bad feels you weren't expecting all over the place!!!

[daughterofursa]

[Zuko opens her mouth to protest that she's not going to explode, remembers she's a firebender, shuts it.]

I don't think pillow fights are my thing.

[What her thing is, she has no idea. When was the last time she had fun? With Mai?]

Mmmm... it must call to your warrior spirit too much to consider it fun, maybe that's it! That might be it, right?

We can do something else! But Ibuki's not sure what you think is fun, she's only just met you!

Hey, Zuko-chan, Zuko-chan, suggest something! There's got to be something, right? Right?

Well, how about... we can play ding dong ditch! [Except there's no doorbells but-]

You knock on people's doors and run away before they answer! So invigorating!!

Why would you do that? You're just wasting people's time.

For the sake of fun! You never know if you're going to get caught or not, they could be right at the door when you knock and then... bwah! The jig is up, you've been caught!

It doesn't waste much time, only a little!
