[She already feels bad for inadvertently causing Crona to freak out. It's probably not going to be any easier on Marie but she can try to head some of it off before they meet again.]

She's a girl?
[ She didn't mean for that to come out like a question, but she's just so confused. ]
no subject
... uhm. Okay. ... Maka here is a guy. We don't know why but some people are comin' from like... I-I'unno a different version of the same world? Like, my friend Bon... he says I'm a guy where he's from.
I just... didn't want you to be freaked out when you saw him.
no subject
That must be it. Something slipped loose and that was that.
But what else was she going to do?
So she just makes herself smile. ]
Well, thank you for the warning. Could you... show me where Crona might be? Before anything else, I need to see Crona.

[She points, rather than guide Marie there herself. Corna was flighty at the best of times and still wasn't completely comfortable with Rin, so she figured it best Marie just go on her own.
Luckily chances of her getting lost are slim - the building is right there.]
no subject
[ Miracle of miracles, she does not get lost.
Yes, it was a possibility. These things happen.
She also does her best to wipe off the blood on her face when she steps away, but that's relatively unsuccessful. Should she have asked for a place to clean up first? Yes? Well, she's not exactly on the top of her game so that's a no go.
When she gets to that numbered room, she knocks because having some manners meant something even right then. Or she thought they did. She's not sure. Hopefully they were in there like the girl said.
Her voice is more than a little ragged when she calls out: ]
Crona! Are you there?
no subject
Then a knock, and Crona jumps, head banging against the wall.]
... Miss Marie? [That sounded like Miss Marie. It's enough to get Crona standing up and walking to the door, pulling it open just slightly to peek out.]
no subject
At least nothing and no one was broken in the process, but that spoke more of her exhaustion than anything else. ]
You're really alive!
[ She was very eloquent right then, too. ]
no subject
But it's just Marie, and Crona's still panicked, but trying to calm down.]
Mmmmmm. [As close as Marie's going to get to "yes" at the moment.]
You're alive too.
no subject
[ Oh, right, it was normally a terrible decision to spontaneously almost tackle Crona. Thinking ahead and impulse control were a little fuzzy then. The hug is going to last for a few moments there because she's having a very hard time letting go.
That part is entirely selfish. ]
You're not hurt, are you?
no subject
No, no I'm not. You know I'm not going to get hurt. Ragnarok's here. [Any injuries are superficial, Ragnarok stopping wounds from getting past the blood vessels. That doesn't mean it doesn't hurt.]
no subject
Really, she should have been on enough to distinguish the difference between hurt and hurt when it comes to Crona, but she's overwhelmed. ]
I'm just so glad you're okay.
[ "Okay" was definitely stretching it a bit. A pause, and because she prefers not to ignore Ragnarok on a general level since he was ever-present within Crona: ] Both of you.
no subject
That "both of you" gets mental grumbling from Ragnarok, but Crona recognizes that particular type of irritation as one the weapon uses when he's actually pretty pleased.]
I'm glad you're okay too.
... Maka's a boy. [Crona still isn't over that.]
no subject
[ Oh, well, at least there was consistency. Her voice is even more careful and gentle when she continues speaking. ]
I take it that you've met... him?
[ That wasn't supposed to be a question. ]
no subject
... I met him. He's Maka. The soul's the same.
no subject
We're going to figure things out. It might just take a little time.
no subject
They'll figure it out. Miss Marie's good at that, even if she's terrible with directions.]
