Rin lets out a groan and tosses her head back, staring at the strange sky above them for a minute before dropping it back down.]

I got... separated from the group. Twice.

[Sorry, he just can't believe how stupid Rin was. The Skyway is terrifying, and getting separated from a group sounds like a REALLY bad idea. No wonder Rin almost got killed.

The rest of what he says isn't nearly as sharp as the beginning, though. It's more frustration speaking.]

Do you need a leash or something?

What?! No! I don't need a damn leash! It's easy to get lost out there, okay?!

No she really is that dumb, Bon. You've got every right to be concerned.]

Well you better not 'get lost' anymore, because it'll be a pain to go and chase you down.

[He wouldn't leave her out there by herself if she got lost, but he would yell at her for getting lost once he found her. Clearly they are good friends.]

[Yup. They're yelling again. Some of the other residents have just turned to snickering quietly amongst themselves. Obviously they're not going to tear each other apart so it's merely friendly rivalry worth chattering about.

They have to get their entertainment somehow.]

[There's no tv in the Bastion so this is like a daytime soap opera or something. All My Exorcists.

But Bon will smirk at that, because he is confident in his abilities.]

[He doesn't want to let Rin have the last word. That's why he continued it as long as he did.

But before he can speak again, his stomach grumbles. It's been hours since he last ate and he is actually pretty hungry, even if he didn't realize it before.]

[They probably could have kept that up forever, but the sound coming from Bon makes Rin stop, snort after a second and start laughing, just barely getting enough time to cover her face with a hand.]

[And Bon looks embarrassed as all hell. It's made worse by the fact that Rin is a girl now, though Bon can't really articulate why that makes it worse.]

Stop laughing! It's normal for a guy to be hungry!

I-I'm sorry! Really! That just came outta nowhere--!

[Nope sorry Bon still laughing]

[GLARE GLARE and since he's done bandaging his arms he'll just toss down the rest of the medical supplies as he stands up.]

You got a lot of nerve, you know that?!

[He'll stomp off and find food for himself if Rin is going to keep laughing like that, he cannot deal with it today.]

What-- aw, Bon! C'mon! I said I was sorry ya big sour-puss!

[She's just going to scramble up and chase after him]

[He's still mad, but at least Rin isn't laughing anymore, so his voice isn't quite as loud as it was before.

Bon will keep walking, though. He figures if he walks long enough he'll either find out more about this place on his own or Rin will break down and tell him.]

I'm not a sour-puss, today's just been a bad day.

[At least some one you sort of knew was here when you arrived... ?

She doesn't say it out loud, though. He doesn't need to be burdened with how much she's missed her friends, or how scared she is that her sister didn't survive.

She stops walking for a second, but after a deep breath in, she storms past him--

only to grab his arm on the way by so she can drag him to get food.]
