Let the Festival Begin [Day 143 | Day 144]
Who: EVERYONE
Open: Open
When: Day 143 & 144
Where: All over the Bastion
What: The first two days of the Harvest Festival
Format Any
Warnings: None
For the past week or so, it may feel like to some that the Bastion is gearing up for something. And not anything bad, either. Something good and oh so needed. It's not just the people, the Caels and the Ura that are aware of what the coming days would mean if the world was still intact. It's like the very Bastion itself has suddenly gained new life, and there's a power over it that's greater than any person, creature or Core.
Anyone who is still awake as dawn breaks over the Bastion may find themselves inexplicably tired for no reason at all, and unable to give in to an intense need to close their eyes, just for a moment.
When everyone wakes, and I do mean everyone, the Bastion will be transformed. Decorations, lights strung across every angle, wreaths, tables with colorful cloths over them, streamers and banners and so much stuff just seemingly out of nowhere! The entire Bastion, suddenly a vibrant, beautiful place for a celebration. And not just any celebration.

[And ew ew ew, there's food on her, and Zia makes a face, takes a deep breath, and puts an arm around Crona to keep them steady. She will endure this.
It almost occurs to her to suggest somewhere else to go, but Crona probably has a drunkism for everywhere in the Bastion so she'll let them prattle.]
Is that so? We'll have to go see them. How's that sound?
no subject
They're sad, you know? Really sad. Because there aren't people there to take the things.
[There's going to be a lot of stumbling. Lots and lots of stumbling.]
no subject
[Keeping steady with their stumbling is a challenge, but she's doing her best. Zia walks as slowly as she can and eventually they make it to the door to the lost and found. She has to spend a few moments adjusting their combined balance before she can reach for the doorknob, but she pushes open the door and hopes that Crona doesn't move too much and knock her over.]
no subject
Oh. Lost and Found.]
We might find something you lost.
no subject
Maybe. I don't think I have anything lost that I'm looking for. How are you feeling?

[She's...she's trying.]
no subject
Do you have people to find?

...Two whole people that didn't make it out of...four. Little miss popular over here, huh.]
It takes a real strong person to stay lost in the Skyway. You must have found real strong friends.

Maka killed a god once.
She just punched him in the face until he died.
no subject
Oh.
[This is a little much even for Crona's drunken babbling.
...It is just drunken babbling. Absolutely.]
...
That's amazing.
no subject
... I'm not a liar. She really did.

It was really amazing. She's a really amazing person. [And now Crona's switched from "mildly annoyed" to "slightly blushy". Someone has a crush.]
