Let the Festival Begin [Day 143 | Day 144]
Who: EVERYONE
Open: Open
When: Day 143 & 144
Where: All over the Bastion
What: The first two days of the Harvest Festival
Format Any
Warnings: None
For the past week or so, it may feel like to some that the Bastion is gearing up for something. And not anything bad, either. Something good and oh so needed. It's not just the people, the Caels and the Ura that are aware of what the coming days would mean if the world was still intact. It's like the very Bastion itself has suddenly gained new life, and there's a power over it that's greater than any person, creature or Core.
Anyone who is still awake as dawn breaks over the Bastion may find themselves inexplicably tired for no reason at all, and unable to give in to an intense need to close their eyes, just for a moment.
When everyone wakes, and I do mean everyone, the Bastion will be transformed. Decorations, lights strung across every angle, wreaths, tables with colorful cloths over them, streamers and banners and so much stuff just seemingly out of nowhere! The entire Bastion, suddenly a vibrant, beautiful place for a celebration. And not just any celebration.

[Remember that goal he had of being at least as tall as Axel's chin? He's still an inch or two short, but it does not seem that way to him when he is measuring from the top of his head to Axel's chin... a little diagonally.]
See?
no subject
Tsk. You don't know what you're talking about. Gimme that thing.
no subject
Are you upset you're not so tall anymore?
no subject
What're you talking about? I'm still taller than you, shrimpy.
no subject
[Whoops tip-toe is not as stable as he was expecting. He's not going to grab the bottle, but he is going to grab you again, okay, bestie?]
no subject
Seriously, Roxas, what made you think this was a good idea?
no subject
[Still seems okay to him.]
no subject
[He rolls his eyes and gives Roxas a little push, trying to straighten him out. There's not much he can really do about this now, though.]
I mean... I guess if it's out in the open like this, I can't exactly stop you from being curious. --How much did you drink anyway?
no subject
Um... That's number two but I don't- think I finished the first one.
no subject
[He sighs, arms crossing even as Roxas hangs on to him.]
Well, that's probably a sign you finished it.
no subject
[He pouts for a second before a realization hits.]
I lost mine!

But not with Saix 'cause he's Saix.
no subject
[With that he's just gonna set this bottle off to the side somewhere so he can leave both hands free to keep his friend straightened up and, you know, not falling all over the place.]
We should probably get you home.
no subject
[Gosh, he walked all the way over here to find you just fine. It is just hard when you push him and stuff.]
The party's still on.
no subject
That doesn't sound like a party to me.
no subject
An' we still haven't found any balloons.
no subject
... Balloons?
no subject
He wanted balloons.
no subject
[Pause]
Do I wanna know what he wants balloons for?
no subject
[Sadface. Why are you denying him falling on you bestie, it's not kissing or even holding hands.]
Balloons are for- holding. You carry them places. [If you were asking what Saix specifically wants them for then he has no idea but this is the only real purpose of balloons in case you needed to know.]
no subject
Yeah, which I kind of doubt you'd be able to do right now.
[Sighing, he takes hold of Roxas' arm to start guiding him back the way he came]
Now quit blabbering and let's at least find a place to sit you down.
no subject
I could carry a balloon! They're lighter than shoulders.
[That word should have been air but he was thinking of how air sits on your shoulders and he got mixed up.]
