For the past week or so, it may feel like to some that the Bastion is gearing up for something. And not anything bad, either. Something good and oh so needed. It's not just the people, the Caels and the Ura that are aware of what the coming days would mean if the world was still intact. It's like the very Bastion itself has suddenly gained new life, and there's a power over it that's greater than any person, creature or Core.

Anyone who is still awake as dawn breaks over the Bastion may find themselves inexplicably tired for no reason at all, and unable to give in to an intense need to close their eyes, just for a moment.

When everyone wakes, and I do mean everyone, the Bastion will be transformed. Decorations, lights strung across every angle, wreaths, tables with colorful cloths over them, streamers and banners and so much stuff just seemingly out of nowhere! The entire Bastion, suddenly a vibrant, beautiful place for a celebration. And not just any celebration.

[He's pretty sure he's called someone an asshole... Maybe that was Riku.]

[From the looks of things, if Stein didn't know better, he'd swear Crona had been the victim of some sort of cruel, high school-esque bullying. ...Oh wait.]

Oh? Did Ragnarok miss some?

[He comments glibly, a smirk forming on the lips that still held a burning cigarette. The demon swordsman's words are a little sloppy - especially compared to Crona's typical speech - but that doesn't concern him much until Crona slides to the ground next to him. Then it garners the lift of a brow.]

You alright?

"No." And here Crona switches back to English, for the weapon's benefit. "He never listens to me."

Paarthurnax will go back as well. To be honest, he's perfectly happy just having that one short conversation in dovahzul. It's nice to speak with someone else instead of just himself.

"Even when you battle?"

Ragnarok... [There is certainly something wrong with Crona. The meister can't quite seem to focus, and there's something far too loose in the movement of tilting to look up at Stein.]

... he's an asshole.

"Oi! What the hell! I listen to you way too much!"

"Do not."

"Do too! Especially when we fight people!"

"... You're supposed to listen to me then. You're my weapon."

Most likely.

[He was Crona's teacher once, in what could quite literally be termed another lifetime. They were some of the only survivors from said lifetime, as well. He exhales a stream of smoke, still intent upon the interactions of the crowd of increasingly intoxicated patrons at the longtable.]

I wasn't aware this place had a priestess. Or a harvest, for that matter.

[Really. What did they harvest around here, Pyth? Sure, there was bound to be something edible out in the surviving flora and fauna on the Skyway, but surely not enough to supply this kind of smorgasbord.]

[Stein's not about to disagree with that one, nope. He laughs out loud, though only briefly, a flash of teeth visible in a larger grin now.]

I'd say that's an accurate description.

"Ragnarok." This is probably one of the few times Paarthurnax addresses the weapon. Usually, it's him and Crona who have the most conversations, it seems. "Why do you not listen to Crona, then?"

Her name is Serena. From my understanding, she approached many of those here.

The harvest is more difficult to explain. [A shake of his head.] But Gods have been known to be kind.

[They've also been known to be harsh, but this doesn't seem like that kind of event. Besides all those throwing themselves at Pyth, anyway.]

Mmmmm.

He ate too much food. I'm going to be sick for a week... [The demon sword is supposed to eat souls, not food.]

Why're you here?

Ragnarok isn't exactly the easiest to talk to. When conversations don't involve him, things that directly benefit him, food, or opportunities to kill someone, his attention span is practically nonexistent.

"Why the hell should I listen to this moron, huh?"

"... I'm your partner. We're supposed to listen to each other."

"Do you not think it would be easier for both of you if you did so? Crona is correct, after all. A partnership is equal."

"Tch, after all I do for this kid? Crona wouldn't even be alive if it weren't for me!"

But you've done it twice in this conversation.

[Riku and Saix now have a way in which to bond- being called an asshole by Roxas.]

"Would you not have a place to be if it were not for Crona?"

Crona flinches, curling slightly inwards. Ragnarok punches his meister in the head.

"A demon sword like me? Hell no! Lady Medusa was gonna give me a meister no matter what. This idiot was just easy to get!"

That little display of violence earns a hard snuff of breath from Paarthurnax's nostrils, right at Rangarok. Stop that, don't make him somehow put you in time out. "You sound certain of this."

[Raising a brow, he bites down on the ice cream stick then turns away with a laugh.]

Sure did. And I see you haven't found Lady Luck just yet~

It appears that you haven't even bothered trying to find her.

You're planning on getting drunk?

[He gives Saix a suspicious stare.]

[Axel waves a hand at that.]

Nah. She's unreliable. Never answers your calls when you need 'er, shows up when everything's said and done. Think I'll stick with the friends I've got.

Maybe you're just too rude.

I am not going to be beaten by a drink.

[Annoyed that he is such a loser when it comes to booze? Don't be dumb.]
