Day 88:: Can you hear me, I know I'm just a whisper...
Who: Everyone!
Status: Open
When: Day 88
Where: The Bastion
What: NPC and PC mingling
Format: Action
Warnings: None
[The excitement of the day before moves in to the quiet of the day after in the Bastion. It's fairly calm after all that, and the two new arrivals have been mostly healed. Current residents will find the once-armored woman bandaged still but in surprisingly good spirits, and the male with the guitar skittish and likely to jump at the smallest thing.
This would be a good point to talk to them, other NPCs or even your fellow NPCs.]

Re: NPCs
His shikigami did not feel the same. He wanted to go out. He wanted to chat and carouse. Unfortunately without leave from the onmyoji he could do nothing of the sort. So he pitched a fit and was eventually dismissed by Seimei, but it goaded the man into leaving the house at last.
Pacing up to the center court and out again, he goes in search of Ahime. Taisan wanted to chat with them both, Seimei only cared to see that Ahime had received enough care to survive. Once satisfied he told himself he would go home and likely remain there. ]

Seimei's approach didn't go unnoticed, and she looked up with a polite smile to the man and his companion.]

My name is Abe no Seimei. I was...present, for your rescue. [ No point taking any credit for anything. All he did was run. ] I wished to check on you and see that you were well. I brought you...tea. Hm. It is bitter, but should aid in your wellness... [ He leans forward slightly, bowing and holding both hands up, a small carved box with dried, crushed leaves inside. ]

[Ahime echos the name, letting it settle in her mind. The offering of tea made her smile more than just the base polite expression she had at the start of their conversation, and when she takes the box she returns the bow, mimicking it in such a way that indicated she had done it before.]
Thank you for this. Anything to aid my recovery is welcome. Though I'm grateful just to be alive thanks to you and your friends.
My name is Ahime Dimosthenis, and it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance even in this troubling time.
no subject
Hm. I only wanted to check on you, so I will not take up any more of your time. I am certain your companion will be well, also.
no subject
But I appreciate you checking on me-- us, I suppose.

Ahime!
Between some healing and medical work, he had been more or less patched up and his shoulder reset painfully, but effectively. Now he looked only half as bad a mess as he had before, but he still had bandages covering the gashes he had received and his body was riddled with nasty looking bruises.
Now that he had a full day's rest in him, coupled with a few good meals; Ippo felt strong enough to wander around the Bastion, hoping he might catch a glimpse of the survivors just to confirm they were okay. His movements were slow and his right arm was still pretty banged up with the shoulder still healing; so getting around would be a slow, leisurely thing today]

But she seemed in good spirits, standing a the Monument and looking at it curiously with a bread roll in her hand.]
no subject
Ah...hello miss! I'm...glad to see you're well...I hope you weren't too badly...hurt.
[Talking with bruised ribs was more of a challenge than Ippo had thought it was going to be as he took a few seconds between his speech, making him sound wheezy and his voice spotty; but he didn't much care about his own injuries. All in all, he was just happy to see that this woman was safe and healing, it made all his injuries feel worth it]
no subject
Ah... should you be out like this?
no subject
[His training and the sum of the whole of his training was a testament to that. Within a few days his ribs would be right as rain, and in a few weeks his arm would be as good as new. He might have a few scars, but more or less it was all superficial]
I guess...we can be sling friends for now...hehe...
[Well, give the kid credit, at least he still had his sense of humors]
no subject
You should still take it easy as much as possible. Mr. Seimei informed me of what you did for my friend and I... I'm very grateful that you went to so much trouble to rescue us.

I'm sorry. I didn't mean to bother you.
no subject
I-it's okay.
.... I...
I'm Crona.

[the woman bows with a fist to her chest]
I'm Ahime.

He only wished he'd been able to bring something. The girl had probably undergone a lot, so something to calm her nerves would probably be helpful. But being a new arrival himself, all Sonic really had to offer was a friendly disposition]

[Sonic jogs the rest of the distance between them, until he's closer]
I dunno if you remember, but I'm one of the guys who helped save you and your friend. Name's Sonic!
no subject
Well. Person. It's rude to call some one a thing.]
Oh, yes, I remember you. It's nice to meet you, Sonic. I'm Ahime.
no subject
Anyway... I was wondering how you were holding up?
no subject
[She wasn't blushing, but she sure was flattered.]
Well... it's upsetting, what happened, but I wouldn't be much of a warrior if I didn't face this with the best attitude I can manage.
