What: After returning with two new arrivals, Rin decides to break out some food and a table to mingle around so people can get to know each other. Meanwhile she's acting a little... spacier than usual.

[With two more new arrivals to the Bastion, Rin has gone to the trouble of setting up a small table just outside the Distillery kitchen, covered with a cloth and laid out with several different kinds of food.

There's not a lot of variety, since they're still running on finite resources, but there's enough there for everyone to have a good amount of food, especially since their two new survivors are probably hungry.

There's some grilled fish, steamed rice, corn and a few other vegetables and fruits, as well as some various drinks (no Spirits, though) take from the distillery itself.

Hopefully this will prompt a few people to mingle about and get to know their new neighbors.]

Oh, I love fishing too! Although I'm a little rusty at it right now... [She blinks.]

Boxing? Like in... boxing things? [No Night, not like packaging.]

No...not like that. Its when two people get in a ring and fight each other using only their fists! Its a test of skill and power...and there's nothing quite like it that I know of.

[He's really getting a fond smile on his face right now, he sure does love his boxing]

Oh... So it's another kind of human sport, right? Like the ones you see on TV where you hit balls across a field? [That could be a number of things, but yes.] You must be really good at it if you love it that much! Do you know if anyone here likes boxing too?

Yes, exactly! I don't really know if anyone here likes boxing...I've only met a few people so far; you, Alucard-san, and Rin-Sempai to be exact...and some strange man in a suit with a mask.

[We're going to forget about the scary Nazi man, Ippo is content with the friends he's made so far]

Could you teach me? [Look at that hopeful stare, Ippo. Look at it and tell her no.]

Y-you want to...learn boxing?

[Ippo blinked multiple times...this young lady wanted to learn how to box? Not that he could really say no to such a face...]

I...I uh...I suppose...? It gets really tough at times...but...if you're sure then...I don't see why not?

Sure! I love learning new things. [And it sounded like a great way to relieve stress.]

I'm sure I can hold my own! [A slight grin, a little fang showing over her lip.] I'm a lot stronger than I look.

Really...I wouldn't be able to tell just looking at you...but then again, size and stature isn't everything. I mean...with this shirt on, I look pretty average now that I look at it. But why don't you show me?

[Ippo pointed to himself with a smile]

Don't worry, I can take a hit. Just aim right for my chest, okay?

Huh?

[Oh that's out of the blue. Night blinks, wide-eyed, but she nods.]

Well... alright! If you're sure... [She exhales, putting herself in a ready-punching stance - she'd have to make sure not to break his rib cage.

Fist at the ready she throws him a punch aimed at his chest; the force of it probably strong enough to knock him back some.]

[The minute her hand connected with his chest, he felt all the wind rush out of his lungs as he was pushed back; his shirt being shredded off his form by the violent force. It took everything in his power just to stay upright with how bad his legs were trembling...strong indeed.

There he stood for a few seconds, his well chiseled abs and chest laid bare as a bruise slowly started to work its way outwards from where Night had struck him. Thankfully though he had been through worse, and he was back on solid legs before a minute was up...though his breath was still rather short as he gave Night a pained thumbs up]

Heeee...yeah...yeah you're strong...you shouldn't have any trouble...at all...heh...just let me...just let me get my breath back...okay...?

[nightchan]

Shit-! [Her face burns red at the sight of him, flustered.] I didn't mean to hit you that hard! I'm so sorry! [She starts to reach out to him, stumbling over apologies and ears burning.]

C-Can I get you anything? Um...! [Like a new shirt. Or ice. Oh God that bruise was huge...]

[Ippo raised a hand slowly and waved off her apologies; she should have seen him after Sendou had gotten done with him]

Haha...I'm fine, I've endured much worse than this. You do...have one heck of a punch though. I think...you'll just fine with boxing...probably even better than me!

[Just imagine...what her punch would be like once she learned how to focus that power...a scary though, but exciting none the less]

Well I'm sure you're very strong... for a human... [But she wasn't human so comparing their strength levels wasn't very fair to him.]

B- But I'd still like you to teach me! If you could stand that I know you must be incredibly strong! [Yeah she feels pretty bad about that punch.]

Really...think nothing of it; I'm fine, see?

[Ippo shook the pain in his chest off and threw a couple of jabs, each one almost untraceable to the human eye; each one causing his muscles to tense and ripple with the effort. All in all, bruise aside, he seemed less worse for the wear than one might think]

I'm glad you think so highly of me Night-san, I really just do my best.

Yeah, but... [You're still human, she thinks. Still so fragile.

... But his easy attitude makes her smile, even laugh a little. What a goofy guy.]

Well your best is pretty impressive, Ippo!

And even holding back, you're more than impressive! You must have worked really hard to get that strong Night-san...I'll have to work twice as hard just to keep up!

[How could he NOT be excited with so many strong individuals to measure his strength against? Now he had a reason to push himself even farther than he had been previously...and for now, that was worth the world to him]

Well... [Should she tell him? Ah...]

Actually I have to admit... I'm not... Well. I mean, I'm not human. [Awkward smile.] But I mean it really is commendable that you could take a punch like that. I'm just glad I didn't break your rib cage...

[Ippo blinked slightly at the revelation...but upon further consultation, he didn't think too far into the matter. It didn't matter /what/ Night was; not to him anyways. As far as he was concerned, she was his friend, and that wasn't going to change just because she wasn't a human]

Well...that certainly is out of the ordinary, but that doesn't mean you didn't work hard to get where you are. My ribs have taken much more damage, trust me; they'll be just fine. I'll just be thankful you didn't go all out on me!

[Completely, 100% demon here. But unless he asked she wouldn't say it.]

Ah, well... [She looks back at his chest, still slightly concerned.]

Do you need a new shirt?

Oh, I have a few extra in my room...I'll just have to go grab one.

[He had been decently comfortable as he was, but if he was making Night uncomfortable without a shirt on, he had no problem going to grab a new one]

[Nudity didn't bother Night, but from experience she knew that it bothered most humans.]

Would you like me to come with you?

Um...if you'd like? There's not much to my room right now...

[He didn't mind if Night came along, but he certainly didn't want to bore the poor girl with his meager possessions...that being a few shirts and his championship belt]
