What: After returning with two new arrivals, Rin decides to break out some food and a table to mingle around so people can get to know each other. Meanwhile she's acting a little... spacier than usual.

[With two more new arrivals to the Bastion, Rin has gone to the trouble of setting up a small table just outside the Distillery kitchen, covered with a cloth and laid out with several different kinds of food.

There's not a lot of variety, since they're still running on finite resources, but there's enough there for everyone to have a good amount of food, especially since their two new survivors are probably hungry.

There's some grilled fish, steamed rice, corn and a few other vegetables and fruits, as well as some various drinks (no Spirits, though) take from the distillery itself.

Hopefully this will prompt a few people to mingle about and get to know their new neighbors.]

[ Tris will explain what she needs as she heads over to check how much wood it has, because the mun isn't exactly sure what's needed for either. But she can apparently make them in a few hours so its all good. ]

Where do you keep the things for baking?

[Just wood, and its got some right now but its about half burned. Luckily there's a stack of wood outside next to the door.]

There's bins right under the sink with flour and other stuff, and spices on the spice rack above it.

[ Oops, I meant for making bread and the cookies. ]

Got it.

[ So she'll do that. Get the wood in and look around for something to start that fire, then gather up all the things she needs to cook. ]

[Right well now you know more than you need to.]

Did you get somethin' to eat already?

Yes. But I know spicecookies are some of Briar's favorites, not that I don't like them.

[ But after she gets started, she does go and find a chair to turn about. Probably to wait in later. ]

[There isn't any in the main kitchen, since Rin really doesn't slow down much to sit when she's cooking, but there are some in the bar connected to the Distillery.]

Ah, okay. I was just makin' sure. Gotta take care of yourself, y'know?

[ Well, Tris moves one to the doorway then. ]

I'll get back to resting after this is all started.

[ She doesn't normally wobble about, honestly. ]

... you sure you don't want me to do it? Ain't sayin' it to be rude, but I do have quite a bit more energy than a lotta people, especially just after comin' off the Skyway.

I know my own limits. And it isn't the Skyway that has me tired.

[ She may be a bit plump and actually wears peticoats and dresses, but she isn't out of shape because of that. ]

[ Just wait until she's irritated enough that her own sort of 'fire' comes with the glare- ]

A greatmage introduced me to a curse. That curse introduced me to the staircase. We had a rather thorough meeting.

[ She's going to move to put things in the oven now. ]

About a week and a half ago.

... ohh. O-owch. Geez.

[that earned a sympathetic frown. It was easy to forget that normal people didn't heal as fast as she did.]

Well uh... there's some one here. Duke? Long white hair, armor, kinda hard to miss. They might be able to heal you a little, if you're okay with that.

[ Rin starting to be unsure about Duke's gender, ah? ]

I've had healing. My brother has some non-magical herbs and medicines I can ask about if I get too uncomfortable. We'll keep it in mind, though.

[ And when she means "we", she sort of does mean the plural. Here's a quick thought to Briar- The white haired, armored one's name is Duke. Rin says they can heal. ]
