Open: Open
When: Day 301
Where: Roathus Lagoon
What: oh look it's time for a core

Hm... that's not quite what I was thinking of, honestly, but considering they're just what you've scrounged up on short notice, that's quite good. Every little bit will prove useful, I'm sure.
[Back to Colin.] Excellent. I think a bit of reduction in peripheral vision is probably a small price to pay to not be afflicted with whatever those plants can throw at us. It's just kind of a shame we can't get more equipment on such short notice.

[which would suck setting things on fire is fun :( ]

I guess hacking them apart might not be much better.
And we might want to think about giving that gas mask to whoever could do the most harm if they lost their senses.
[Definitely side-eyeing Azula there. Please do not be lightninging her again sis.]

[Although the tone of the example is somewhat light, there is still the definite implication that it's not hyperbole.]

And we know the nature of some of the poisons, yeah. Some of them cause full-body paralysis, others cause a loss of senses, and some cause full-on hallucinations. If someone gets hit with that last one you're going to want to find a way to restrain them, by the way, the effects last for quite a while.

[Sometimes having loss of a sense can be helpful.]

And we'll be sure to bring rope. [In case they need to tie anyone up.]

I've got some potions ready. Invisibility for 17 seconds, increasing natural healing rate, restoring stamina, added resistance to fire - probably pointless in a swamp but I have it - nothing that'll deal with those poisons though. I'll get them when we're done here.
[He also has an untested blade poison that will (if this attempt at making it worked) increase the victim's weakness to fire, which he'll give to Zuko, but he only has one so he feels kind of awkward giving it to her in front of everyone else so that'll be handed over when no one else is around.]

Beside the masks and the potions, we shouldn't have very much, right? Those items shouldn't make running an issue.
