[Day 295] So now we’re getting ready steady go! Returning what they throw [OPEN]

What: It's that time again! Time for a Pokemon Daycare Log! But this time we've got some new stuff to do!

[The Pokemon Daycare is a common sight to anyone who has been in the Bastion long enough. Pokemon in general are also a common sight, as there are plenty wandering around either on their own or with partners thanks to the two owners of said daycare.

Today is no different in that regard, but it is different in that some gifts have been bestowed upon the daycare courtesy of Colin. A jungle gym, an agility race course, and several carnival strength tester machines have been set up near the front, as well as a shaded, beautiful looking grotto complete with a large pond and a waterfall.

The Pokemon that are there are having an absolute blast with their new toys, and N can even be found taking a couple of them through the race course.

It would be a good day to join them, see what Pokemon are out and about, and even play with the ones that are there!]

okay but sure, why not. Naegi's here again to visit, drop by, see if that Furfrou he's been visiting every so often's up and about.

If not, there's other Pokemon, though, to play with, so he's not too concerned about being bored either way... ]

[For now he can at least get a wave from N, at least after he's finished running Zoura through the racing track.]

[ Naegi waves back at N in return, eventually wandering over towards the racing track and watching the Zorua play around inside. ]

Hey. How're all the Pokemon holding up?

[Zoura lets out an excited yip in his direction, suddenly distracted from any decent time on the race track.]

Good. Furfrou is enjoying a nap at the new grotto, if you'd like to see her.

[Don't mind him as he tries to get Zoura to start back at the beginning while she wiggles and struggles to get out of his hands to go see Naegi. Person person new person!]

Sure! Maybe in a bit, though... I wouldn't want to disturb her while she's napping.

[ Naegi laughs, smiling a little lopsidedly as he follows N over and tilts his head at the Zorua. ]

I don't think I've seen this one around here much...

Red Anna is off at the jungle gym, trying to coach Mikoto the Larvesta through it.

So far the fat bug isn't cooperating.

"You're going to get too heavy to climb into the wagon." is part of how Anna is trying to get him to work off some of his roundness.

That does seem to be a problem.

N approaches her and crouches down, holding out a treat in his hand.

"It helps if you give him incentive," he offers, making sure to give to Anna so that Mikoto knows who the trainer is here.

"Don't worry, it won't make him heavier. These are healthy treats."

"... He does like to eat." Anna takes the treat, looking it over before N reassures her.

"Ah, like dried fruit?" Anna steps over to wave the treat down the jungle gym where she wants Mikoto to climb. Come and get it, fat bug.

N nods, taking out a small container of them for her. "They're from the berry trees here. I'm sure he'll like them once he tries one."

[Colin's been mostly keeping to himself for over a week now. To say that his demeanor has changed is something of an understatement. That said, he still likes the pokemon, and he doesn't think poorly of N and Hilda, so the daycare is one of the places where he still visits with regularly.]

Good morning, children.

[Yep, here he is, carrying a basket with some treats for all the youngsters, and the older ones as well.]

[Good morning, Colin.

Are you ready to get tackled by a horde of Pokemon?

Because that's what's going to happen.]

[Fortunately, most of them are young. Double fortunately, Colin's used to getting swarmed by now. Triple fortunately, he has treats and he knows that brings them out by the scores.]

Oh boy...!

[BRACE FOR IMPACT]

[He keeps his footing, if only barely, and he keeps his hold on the treats as well.]

Oh no! They've learned to hunt in packs! Someone help!

[He laughs, clearly joking and playing with the kids, hand going out to pet as many of them as he can while still keeping the treats safe.]

I'm sorry, you're doomed. [And there is N, arriving on the scene. Also... was that an actual joke from him?!]

[Golurk is out and about, looking down at the activities. They're a little big for the jungle gym and the race course, and they know that they have a lot of strength, so they just sit at the grotto, watching the children play.]

[Not that they won't speak up if they're spoken to... or watch anyone who gets close.]

[Hopefully Golurk won't mind a little human company. Zoura has properly worn N out with her antics, and a nice calm sit in the grotto seems like a good idea.

Having Golurk's company is just a plus to that, for N at least.]

[Golurk doesn't, and the large Pokemon turns to face N slightly. They rumble a bit of a question. Is everything all right?]

Tired. [That's all he says about it, even slumping in exhaustion against Golurk. Babby pokemon wear him out...]

[All the new things don't go unnoticed by Jane; she's been walking around the Bastion long enough to notice the Pokemon Center, and Hilda had brought her there once before. It's so interesting to watch all the Pokemon play with everything, though, and she can't help but be drawn closer to get a better look at things.

She's lingering on the edge of the new areas, not sure if she should just walk right in and explore - is that impolite? She doesn't want to be impolite. Oh, but the Pokemon are everywhere and they're so cool...]

[New shinies do tend to get people's attention, and N is getting used to having something of an audience at this place thanks to the Pokemon often bringing curious people over.

It isn't N that approaches her, though, but Zoroark. Walking on two legs, he lifted a huge paw in a wave. Hi person.]

[Jane isn't...too startled by Zoroark. After all, he looks a lot like Hilda's Zorua with the coloring and the vulpine features. Still, it's a little strange to see such a large creature on two legs just waving at her.

She smiles and waves back. Hi, Pokemon.]

[He is basically a very large Zoura. Only with less of a mischievous nature, seeing as he was the one N raised from a baby.

Speaking of him, Jane won't be alone with the silent creature for too long. N emerged from the connected house, screen door creaking and snapping back as he came on to the porch.]

[Patchouli is not in the area often, but she's around often enough to know that things have changed. Last time she was around, she saw Colin working on things, so her first thought is that maybe this is what he was doing?

For now she's just going to be looking around at everything. Please feel free to interrupt her!]

[She doesn't really notice him at first. She's too focused on ... whatever it is she's looking at. Eventually, though, she turns around.]
