[Day 295] So now we’re getting ready steady go! Returning what they throw [OPEN]

Who: N, Hilda, a buttload of Pokemon and YOU
Open: Open!
When: 295
Where: Pokemon Daycare, backyard
What: It's that time again! Time for a Pokemon Daycare Log! But this time we've got some new stuff to do!
Format: whatever you so choose
Warnings: -

[The Pokemon Daycare is a common sight to anyone who has been in the Bastion long enough. Pokemon in general are also a common sight, as there are plenty wandering around either on their own or with partners thanks to the two owners of said daycare.

Today is no different in that regard, but it is different in that some gifts have been bestowed upon the daycare courtesy of Colin. A jungle gym, an agility race course, and several carnival strength tester machines have been set up near the front, as well as a shaded, beautiful looking grotto complete with a large pond and a waterfall.

The Pokemon that are there are having an absolute blast with their new toys, and N can even be found taking a couple of them through the race course.

It would be a good day to join them, see what Pokemon are out and about, and even play with the ones that are there!]

[Fortunately, most of them are young. Double fortunately, Colin's used to getting swarmed by now. Triple fortunately, he has treats and he knows that brings them out by the scores.]

Oh boy...!

[BRACE FOR IMPACT]

[He keeps his footing, if only barely, and he keeps his hold on the treats as well.]

Oh no! They've learned to hunt in packs! Someone help!

[He laughs, clearly joking and playing with the kids, hand going out to pet as many of them as he can while still keeping the treats safe.]

Curse the natural course of events leading to my inevitable demise!

[Colin laughs just the same, glad to hear a joke from N, and he keeps right on petting as many of the kids as possible. Yes, the Pokemon are a great stress reliever, even if they intend to climb all over him. Good thing he likes them, huh?]

How goes the day, N?

I'm always glad to lend a hand, especially to a crowd that appreciates it.

[Guh, kids, he only has two hands! And one of them is protecting treats!]

[He isn't harried, though, he just laughs at all the attentions.]

Enough, enough you adorable little monsters! I have treats to hand out, with your papa's say-so! I can't do that when you're all jockeying for attention!

[No chastisement there, just friendly teasing. Some of them definitely understand him, or at least know the routine, so he's sure he'll have a little peace sooner or later.]

[Colin laughs quietly as the crowd seems to settle down, and he smiles between the lot of them.]

Now, if you sit there nicely and patiently, you'll get treats. And if not, well... I made stuff that I can enjoy too.

[He grins around at each and every one of the kids. Altaria, Darumaka, you two especially know better. Then he gives N a smile.]

Assuming that you don't mind my giving them treats if they're well behaved, N.

[With the kids behaving, Colin starts pulling out poffins and smoothies, with things made based on the tastes he's observed in the kids' preferences. You can say a lot about his social habits, but he definitely pays attention to small details like this. He starts calling the pokemon by name, based on what he pulls out of the basket, and he gives everyone their treat in turn, with an accompanying pet and smile.]

So my additions have been a success, huh?

[He smiles over at N.]

Have any I missed any of the kids' needs in what I've provided? ... Barring, y'know, a magma pool or a graveyard?
