[Open prompt - Afternoon]

[Ibuki can be found today climbing all over a specific mammoth, and...]

[Are those bottles of dye from the barber shop? Yes, yes it is. Ibuki is, indeed, busy giving a mammoth colorful streaks throughout its fur]

[Closed prompt to Ippo - Evening]

Cannon ball!!

[At the onsen, Ibuki gently catapulting into the water.]

[... where, apparently, Ippo had taken a stop for the evening after a long day of exercise and various other tasks]

[Did Ibuki already know he was there? It's difficult to say, really...]

[Indeed, it had been another day of work and exercise and per the usual, Ippo was relaxing in the onsen to work off the tension of the day before going back home where Ibuki undoubtedly would want to do something or other that would require him not to be so worn out. Today though, it seemed that Ibuki had taken herself to him instead of waiting for him to come to her.

All he had was the shout before a brightly colored blur leaped into the Onsen, causing his face to turn a bright red as he quickly reached for the towel he'd set aside and covered his waist as hastily as he could, sputtering the entire time.]

I-Ibuki?! Did...did I take too long? Are there other people waiting to get in??

[Because that was the logical thing to think, wasn't it? Too bad it was probably the wrong answer.]

Noooooooope!

Ibuki just wanted to join Ippo-chan in the onsen!

[And then she splashes some water at Ippo]

[Please dear Pantheon, help Ippo to can in this situation, because he's slowly losing his ability to do so. The poor kid was couldn't even properly lift his head up at the moment.]

...I uh...well...that is...h-how was your day today?

[A+ Ippo. Good job not even properly reacting to getting splashed and turning the conversation to something mundane while sounding like a cracked record.]

Ibuki gave a mammoth some hair styling tips and dyed some fur! You should check it out sometime! It looks totally cool now!

You did...you dyed a mammoth?

[That was enough for him to look up, his eyebrows quirked quizzically as he tried to imagine just what-all Ibuki could have done to an animal that big. Sure they were docile and he wasn't overly worried about her getting hurt around one...but that sounded like a lot of hair dye. It was at least attention grabbing enough that he didn't notice Ibuki subtly creeping closer to him.]

What gave you that idea? And...how much of it did you dye?

[How would she have even gotten up on it's back if that was the case? Those things were huge!]

That's...actually pretty impressive.

[Impressive enough for him to take a moment to think about how massive an undertaking that would be in and of itself. Maybe there was a ladder around? Or Colin might have helped somehow? Why would Colin help though it didn't seem like something he'd indulge...]

Well...at least it will give people something interesting to look at?

[Because apart from being food...the Mammoths really didn't do much apart from graze on grass and be big. A little color couldn't hurt, could it?]

Options? About the mammoth?

[That certainly was...a strange question to pose so suddenly, but then again this was Ibuki and strange questions out of left field weren't exactly rare occurrences.]

W-well...maybe it could be something like...a mascot of some kind? The Rainbow Bastion Mammoth??

[Because who wouldn't like the Rainbow Bastion Mammoth? A hero for all ages!]

... Hmmmmmm... a mascot, you say? Interesting, interesting! Ibuki will have to fight the mammoth for the position as mascot of the Bastion!

I...don't think that's a competition anyone could win...

[Especially a Mammoth. It wouldn't even know what was going on in the first place, let alone be able to compete in whatever challenges Ibuki cooked up. That figured out though...]
