Day 286 [Openish] - Wooly mammoths and sea monsters

What: Ibuki dyes some mammoths, and then jumps into the onsen while it's still occupied!

[Open prompt - Afternoon]

[Ibuki can be found today climbing all over a specific mammoth, and...]

[Are those bottles of dye from the barber shop? Yes, yes it is. Ibuki is, indeed, busy giving a mammoth colorful streaks throughout its fur]

[Closed prompt to Ippo - Evening]

Cannon ball!!

[At the onsen, Ibuki gently catapulting into the water.]

[... where, apparently, Ippo had taken a stop for the evening after a long day of exercise and various other tasks]

[Did Ibuki already know he was there? It's difficult to say, really...]

[That might be interesting to learn. His own hair was getting to impressive lengths in its own right...maybe one day he could do horns as well!]

Yessssss!! How about it, Ippo-chan? How about it?

[She starts poking at Ippo's face with her closer hair horn]

That would be pretty interesting, actually! And hey! Watch where your poking that tickles!

[She laughs a little at that]

And if you stick with Ibuki's strict training regiment, you too will get impatient enough to style the horns in less than ten minutes!

[Normally Ippo would respond with something along the lines of patience being the key to practice and such, but he was too busy laughing and being tickled, so he was kind of stuck with that as he tried to fend of the offending horn.

With minimal success as usual.]

[Ibuki will let up after a half minute or so]

The Ibuki horns will let you off for now, Ippo-chan, but beware! Who knows when they may strike again!

[Is that her sides he's going for? Eyup. Totally going for the dreaded pincer side tickle. Ibuki's beware!]

[She starts squirming and laughing. Yup, she's ticklish!]

E-ehehehe! I-Ippo-chaaaaaan-kyaaaaa~!

[And she breaks off into more laughing. She might be more ticklish than Ippo.]

Ha ha! Now the shoes on the other foot!!

[Oh he's gonna give back all those tickles you've given him and then some! A man can only be tickled so much before he must tickle back!!]

Ehehe-n-no way no wayyyyyyyyyyyy-

[She laughs some more-]

I-it's not over, not yet...! Ibuki counter!

[Which... in her haste, she ends up throwing herself against Ippo while trying to tickle him... though the attempt is a bit clumsy]

[And it's that clumsy attempt that send Ippo falling straight backwards into the water. A harmless fall really, there was enough buffer between the water and rock seating below that he didn't crack his head against anything, but now Ibuki was very much on top and he was very much under the water looking right up at her.

and boy was that a sight to be staring up at.]

[Well, given that Ippo was underwater now, Ibuki didn't have a clear idea what he was looking at. Besides, she was more worried about Ippo possibly drowning]

[So, she's going to awkwardly pull at him so at least his head goes above water]

[Well, he hadn't swallowed any water so there wasn't any distressed sputtering as he got pulled up, just a gratefully quick gulp of air followed by a small, nervous laugh.]

H-ha, looks like you got me in the end after all, huh?

A-ahaha... y-you didn't hurt your head, did you, Ippo-chan?

Ibuki seems to have a baaaaaaaaad habit of making you fall all over the place!

I'm fine, there was water in the way this time.

[It was true though. For someone who'd trained extensively in keeping on his feet, Ibuki sure did have a knack for sweeping him off them with a surprising level of efficiency.]

Maybe we can use shards to make everything in the Bastion bouncy or something.

We could turn the entire Bastion into one of those bouncy castles!

[... it seems like Ibuki missed a golden opportunity there to tease Ippo-]

Like at fairs and carnivals?

[That might be fun to have around...at the very least it would be an interesting way to blow off some extra energy. And then Ibuki had to derail that thought into a mental orphanage.]

Her...you mean...b-but would that...really be necessary?

[A surprisingly candid response, almost kinda sweet in it's own weird way.]

Ehehee... that's a good response, Ippo-chan.

[It's not like Ibuki had inadequacy issues concerning her chest to begin with (not to mention she has less to worry about in the future concerning back pains unlike a fair number of her female classmates!), but she did appreciate her boyfriend's reply on the matter]

But yeah, yeah! We could make a cool fair and carnival ground! Better yet, better yet... a full fledged amusement park! Ibuki's never been to an amusement park before!

... I've always wanted to go to one.

...You know, that might not be a bad idea.

[After all the doom and gloom of recent events...a big ol' amusement park would actually be a welcome sight to see if he was being honest.]

Maybe after the next core we'll have enough power to make one!

... ... though, you know, I bet the idea will get shot down like whoah! The second it leaves Ibuki's mouth!

There's proooooooobably not enough people here that would be for it. They'll be all like, no way, Ibuki-chan, we have more important things to build with a core!

... hey, what about you, Ippo-chan? Have you ever been to an amusement park?

Well...we don't have to do it with a core, but we do need the power to make it run without...you know, a repeat of that almost falling incident. Shards would probably be the way to go though, definitely.

[Because having the Bastion almost fall out of the sky had scared the everliving daylights out of him. Not something he wanted to repeat.]

I've been to a few. Nothing big, just local festivals and the like, but they were definitely fun! That kind of atmosphere might put some pep back into people!

That's going to take a loooooooooooooot of shards! It seems like Ibuki has a new goal!

Ibuki has been to a few festivals, at least... but she's never been on a roller coaster or anything really cool like that.

Back home, I always thought I'd eventually land a gig at Tokyo Disneyland at some point or something, and then I'd finally get to try out all the rides. [if only she hadn't ended up on an island vacation of murder...]

I remember that place! I was...10 when that opened, I always begged my mom to go but...we never really had time or money.

[It was a fun memory though, seeing the signs promoting it and such. It seemed like such a fun place, no wonder Ibuki would want to land a music gig there.]

It would be...definitely. We'd have to buy everything individually and set it all up in the same general area...maybe we can convince other people to join in though?
