Notes: The two separate situations, for sake of ease, will be in two different top threads. Consider the dovahzul group a sort of mingle! Get to know your fellow students better.


In the time between morning and noon, Paarthurnax settles down by the river of Dragonfield where the usual stone tablet depicting all the letters of dovahzul is. It's a recognizable landmark, after all... Although he won't turn away new faces.

During the afternoon, anyone venturing nearby will be called to by the old dragon. Investigate?

That's right. Simplifying it, they each have a typing. It's part of who they are in that it's a strength and a weakness for them - grass beats water, water beats fire, fire beats grass and so on. Each typing has at least one it's weak to, but it also has one it's strong against in return.

I see. There were creatures and races such as that in my homeland as well.

[ He nods, to show that he's listening. ]

They can achieve different skills as well through training or other means, but the those connected to their typing will always be the strongest.

What types are yours, then?

[littlerat]

Fire, flying, water, ice, grass, poison, normal, and electric. Some of the other trainers have different typings on them too.

But if you want to know what they can do, Charizard will be able to fly and transport, Lapras can swim and create a layer of ice to move on, and Blastoise carries a large amount of water and Pikachu replenishes the electricity inside of him as well.

[ There's a small pause. ]

[There's the sound of a talon going through stone as he writes it all down in the only way he knows how. When he's done, he nods to Red to go on.]

[ Red does wait for him, but when he nods and before Red continues on with that... ]

Do you think having it written down on paper too would be helpful? [ You know what, let's sit down. ] I don't know who you would give it to, if there's any kind of head or authority here, or someone it'd be better kept with.

Zuko has agreed to copy this- she is one of my students. For where it shall be stored? I had thought of asking Colin. He is reliable with such matters.

Who is Colin?

[ Zuko he knows, and it might be of benefit to know a little about this Colin guy too. ]

Well, storing it all in a book would be good. I know people can't read the same languages here, but the main one for the Bastion would probably be the best. There's more people here who can read it than not. [ Thanks, Zulf!! ]

I can only write in what I know. Fortunately, I have many keen students who have picked up quickly.
