In the time between morning and noon, Paarthurnax settles down by the river of Dragonfield where the usual stone tablet depicting all the letters of dovahzul is. It's a recognizable landmark, after all... Although he won't turn away new faces.

During the afternoon, anyone venturing nearby will be called to by the old dragon. Investigate?

[It's pretty much sheer chance that Patchouli happens to be in the area. However, she doesn't mind stopping for Paar at all. If he needs to know something, she will try to help. If it's about other people, well... yeah, that might be kind of a pain.]

In which case, I will tell you as much as you need to know. For starters: my means of magic, I can fly. Well, here, I suppose it is better described as "floating a little off the ground, a bit faster than I can walk." Before I arrived here, I was practically unbounded by altitude, and could move at speeds far above my running speeds, far above those of any human.

... but I suppose I should not focus much on what I cannot do. Beyond that I wield magic of seven elements. ... well, technically. [All of her Sun Element magic is still locked.] Fire, earth, metal, wood, water, sun and moon -- the Five Phases, and two more -- they inform my magic, though I most certainly seek to expand further. Suffice to say, my abilities are primarily suited to demolition.
