He paces up to the monument, rubbing his hands clean with a bit of cloth stained yellow by the various planets he'd crushed to use as a lacquer. Patting his face dry on one of his sleeves, the onmyoji shakes his head, dislodging more of his hair from the tight topknot he wore, leaving it framing his face in night black waves. ]
I have not. She was the young woman with the sunny hair and patch over one eye, yes? I am very sorry but I have been working so much I didn't ever realize anyone was missing. I she perhaps simply searching for supplies in the Skyway? Admittedly, I haven't seen anyone on my own outings, but it isn't exactly a small place.

She didn't say anything. She hadn't seen Marie either. Her heart wanted to ignore what her mind knew was probably the truth - she was gone. Whatever had happened, she hadn't come back from the Skyway, and that always spelled the worst.]

That's what I thought too, at first. Since there's no day and night, it's hard to keep track of the time. But even without watching the hours, I know I've slept at least three times since the last time I saw her.

She gets lost a lot, you know?
We might want to look for her, if she hasn't been here in three days.
