What: There's a new house in the Bastion. People are moving in to it, and Pokemon are playing in the yard.

[It took a lot of shards, and a lot of work, but it was worth all of that in the end. With the eggs they'd found at the broken Daycare Center getting so close to hatching, and their Pokemon numbers growing, staying in the apartments was just not going to continue to be a viable option. So the two trainers put their heads together, and after a lot of discussion, planning, counting shards and re-planning they had managed to come up with an entirely new Daycare Center of their own, complete with a yard and living area on the second floor.

And there it was, a new house standing on a new section of land in a slightly expanded Bastion, and after some shuffling around of personal belongings out of the tower apartments, N, Hilda, Anna, and all their Pokemon and eggs were successfully relocated to this new location.

So if anyone is making their way around the south quadrant of the Bastion today, this new house with its strange creatures playing happily in the yard is likely to catch your attention.

I'm sure she would. She's known me longer than anyone.

[And she had to deal with his creepy "show up wherever you are and challenge you to a Pokemon battle" phase.

And then there was that whole thing with the Ferris Wheel in Nimbasa City that may or may not have been classified as a kidnapping.

Also he was sort of responsible for her taking on a Legendary Dragon, taming it, and forcing her to battle said dragon's other half while going a little insane because he felt like his ideals were being threatened.

She's been pretty good at it so far. Not that we haven't had problems...

There are problems any time people try to interact. That's just how things are.

I do have to wonder why that is, though. Why is communication so difficult? Especially between humans? I rarely ever have a misunderstanding with Pokemon and yet with humans I find myself often stumbling over words and phrasing and many other small, minor details.

I don't know. I'm still learning how to deal with people.

I can deal with Ragnarok, you know. Maybe you just have to know people well enough to not stumble.

I have known Hilda longest out of anyone here. That does seem to make a difference.

Sometimes you meet people and even if you haven't known them for a long time they're still easy to talk to. But if you don't meet people you'll never know.

I think my father would have preferred it that way. He behaved as if meeting Hilda was the biggest mistake I had ever made. He simply hadn't factored in natural chaos that would have occurred by letting me leave the castle at all.

Oh.

He sounds like Lady Medusa.

She was wrong. Meeting people was a good decision.

He was a selfish man with far too much power and charisma over other people.

I shudder to think of what he could have accomplished if Hilda had not come in to my life and shown me just how wrong he truly was and exposed his awful plan.

Sh-she sounds like a really good person. You're really lucky to know her.

I am. She turned my entire life around.

Ma-maka did the same thing for me. She came and found me and she... um... she changed everything.

How did she change things for you?

She... I didn't have anyone. And then I had Maka. No one had ever tried to deal with me before.

That's how it was for me as well. Team Plasma members were allowed to speak with me, as were the sages, but my contact with them was limited and most didn't even bother unless I was giving instructions. Hilda... was the first person to treat me like... like a human and not just a figurehead forced in to authority.
