What: There's a new house in the Bastion. People are moving in to it, and Pokemon are playing in the yard.

[It took a lot of shards, and a lot of work, but it was worth all of that in the end. With the eggs they'd found at the broken Daycare Center getting so close to hatching, and their Pokemon numbers growing, staying in the apartments was just not going to continue to be a viable option. So the two trainers put their heads together, and after a lot of discussion, planning, counting shards and re-planning they had managed to come up with an entirely new Daycare Center of their own, complete with a yard and living area on the second floor.

And there it was, a new house standing on a new section of land in a slightly expanded Bastion, and after some shuffling around of personal belongings out of the tower apartments, N, Hilda, Anna, and all their Pokemon and eggs were successfully relocated to this new location.

So if anyone is making their way around the south quadrant of the Bastion today, this new house with its strange creatures playing happily in the yard is likely to catch your attention.

[Floette floats over from where she's been resting, and looks at Rin curiously before looking at AZ, who nods. She smiles brightly and holds out a tiny hand to Rin.]

[Rin blinks a few times fast, staring at Floette. She's so tiny!]

Uhm... hi...

[Should she... try to shake that tiny hand with her fingers?]

[She hovers a little closer and takes one of Rin's fingers in her hand, shaking it gently.]

[AZ just watches the two of them, doing his best to stifle his laughter.]

[She's shaking... hands with a tiny flower...

Uhm. Nice... to meetcha...

[She giggles and twirls her flower happily.]

I think she likes you. Just be careful she doesn't start fixing your hair. She did that with Zulf.

[Rin giggles at that.]

I wouldn't mind. My hair is a mess all the time anyway.

[Not for lack of the Hitachiin twins trying to pin her down and fix it, though.]

She's started doing that with me, too. I've actually been taking better care of it now that there's a place to take a bath that fits me.

[Fitting in a regular tub would be... a problem.]

I always take care of my hair, and it still looks like this! I don't know how Yuki always managed to have such nice hair...

[It's called brushing and combing it more than just when you take a shower, god Rin.]

At least you had an excuse.

Some people just have naturally messy hair, I think. Yours isn't so bad, really.

[She's actually trying to smooth down some of those short spiky bits now.]

Rin just lets out a laugh and shakes her head, dropping her hands to her lap.]

[Floette floats back over to AZ and sits on his shoulder.]

I was thinking about getting some flowers for this place. I don't have much to spend my shards on, and the kind of flower that Floette has went extinct a while ago in my world. I thought it might be nice to grow it again.

[That makes Rin tense up for a second, but the smile stays even though there's a sadness that comes to it.]

... Night loved flowers. There's a small garden in the back of the old apartments. I tried to take care of it but I'm no good at stuff like that.

We can help with that. We can teach you, if you want.

[Floette spins and uses Aromatherapy, filling the area with a sweet scent.]

Here, people are... more accepting. It makes it easier to help. Sometimes people are put off by my height... I can't exactly help it.

[Rin let out a scoff at that, shaking her head.]

I deal with demons all the time. You're nothin' scary to me.

[He offers her a little smile.]

You'd think that with some Pokemon looking as large and frightening as they do a giant human wouldn't cause so much trouble... but I suppose it might be different since it's not normal. Some people can be... strange about that sort of thing.

Well... yeah. People are usually afraid of things they don't understand. Or... somethin' like that.

Mm. All we can do is be patient and try to help them understand.

I don't have a lotta patience.
