[Day 153] I understood the meaning of love... [OPEN]
Who: Rin and YOU!
Open: Open
When: 153, afternoon
Where: The Gazebo
What: The past few days have been difficult, but Rin is in a surprisingly good mood today. Apparently that's enough to warrant randomly singing??
Format: Starting in action, but I'll folow
Warnings: Rin being Rin is a given by now.
[The past few days had been a whirlwind of emotion. Some good, some bad, but all of it actually fairly exhausting. In it, though, Rin had gotten out some much needed things that had been bottling up for some time, and in a stark contrast to the anger that had nearly destroyed the kitchen, she found herself in a surprisingly good mood this day.
Like. Really good mood.
Good enough to apparently sing. Which she didn't do very often at all. Sometimes she could be caught humming a song while working, but actually singing something?
Well, she did used to be in the church choir growing up, so it wasn't that far fetched of an idea. But it had been years since then, and her voice was a little out of practice.
Still, something about that good mood compelled her to make her way over to the gazebo where the piano was. She couldn't play (Yuki could, but even she had fallen out of practice with that in recent years, too) but she knew enough to strike a note and start from there. She wasn't singing to anyone in particular, and the song that came out of here surprisingly wasn't a church hymn.]
Kuon no shijima yagate sora ni
aoku aoku tokete nijinde
mahiru no tsuki no usui kage wa
sugu ni sugu ni mirai wo yobu...
[It didn't quite sound the same without some accompaniment, but she still got rather in to it. Enough that she probably wouldn't notice if some one stopped to listen...]

Wow Emboar. Wow.]But hey, if you like him, I ain't gonna judge. He's obviously worth it. Ain't like my boyfriend doesn't have weird things about him. He looks like a big thug but he's really just a nice guy with a rough side to him.
Plus he used to dye his hair in a way that made him look like a chicken.
no subject
Yeah, he's pretty hopeless. He knows it wouldn't work anyway and he's still holding grudges.]So he's a thug who's actually a teddy bear?
[ Blink, smile. ]
I'm pretty sure most of my friends back home would be kind of skeptical if they knew N and I were together ... He used to be involved in a pretty nasty group.
[ If by 'involved,' we mean 'the leader of.' ]
no subject
That's almost precious]Yeah! Pretty much!
[She can't help but grin at that because really Bon kind of is a teddy bear beneath all that gruffness and yelling.]
... what kinda group?
no subject
It really kinda is]Ah ...
[ She's not sure if she should be talking about this, but it's all been said and done so ... ]
... N used to be the leader of a group known as Team Plasma. Their aim was to separate Trainers and Pokemon from each other, and they sometimes used some pretty extreme means to do that.
[ There's a lot more to it than just that, but ... yeah, sure, let's say that for now. ]

[ That whole thing still upset her, even though things have long since been patched up and it was all more or less fine now. Well, aside from worlds going explody, but she still hadn't found a way to tell N about their own world's status ... ]
no subject
[She really couldn't say much to the leaving thing because no one in her life had really ever done anything like that.]
no subject
A lot happened. I can't blame him for being confused or upset by any of it.
[ She takes a breath and lets it out. ]
Anyway ...
[ QUICK, think of something else to talk about! ]
What's your boyfriend like? You know, aside from the thug who's just a big teddy bear thing.
[ She would not have thought about that at all if she hadn't just been talking about her own boyfriend. Oh, Hilda. When did you start thinking about boys?
Oh yeah, right about the time that N kissed her. ]

[Rin was like that, a little. Her anger and temper went unchecked for a long time and she thought that was just how it was always going to be. She didn't know why she was that way. It made for a lot of upset.]
Bon? Uhm... well. He's pretty smart. He was like the top of our cram school class back home. We didn't get along when we first met, but we became friends pretty fast after we stopped bitchin' at each other constantly.
no subject
That's kind of cute, actually ...
[ Meanwhile, the Pokemon had all started playing with each other. And Lilil was playing Mommy and stuff, trying to keep the youngins out of trouble. ]
no subject
He'd turn red and yell a lot if he heard you say that, but yeah... he kinda is.

[ Never mind that N sees things in her that she doesn't want to accept, too. Hahaaa. Ha. Ha. :'D; ]

I can see why you and Emboar get along so well! But then, Emboar's really friendly. Has been since the day he and I met.
no subject
[You agree with her, right Emboar?]
no subject
Awwwyeah, some people need to be punched. ]
I guess I agree? I'm not really the type to go around punching people, though.
no subject
Eh. Most people aren't. That's just how I've always been.
no subject
[ WERE YOU PUNCHING PEOPLE IN THE NAME OF JUSTICE?! ]

[ She'd probably instinctively step in despite all of her social awkward if she saw someone bullied. And if she didn't, Emboar probably would. Emboar hates it when people pick on those weaker than them, too. Those who can't fight for themselves should be protected. DEFENDER OF JUSTICE EMBOAR TO THE RESCUE.
But again, this is probably more of why he and Rin get along so well, too. They're alike in a lot of ways. ]
no subject
Doesn't exactly make people wanna be around you, though. After they watch you knock two boys back twenty feet without hittin' the ground...
no subject
I dunno, I'd think that's pretty impressive. But I guess not everyone would ...
