[Day 153] I understood the meaning of love... [OPEN]
Who: Rin and YOU!
Open: Open
When: 153, afternoon
Where: The Gazebo
What: The past few days have been difficult, but Rin is in a surprisingly good mood today. Apparently that's enough to warrant randomly singing??
Format: Starting in action, but I'll folow
Warnings: Rin being Rin is a given by now.
[The past few days had been a whirlwind of emotion. Some good, some bad, but all of it actually fairly exhausting. In it, though, Rin had gotten out some much needed things that had been bottling up for some time, and in a stark contrast to the anger that had nearly destroyed the kitchen, she found herself in a surprisingly good mood this day.
Like. Really good mood.
Good enough to apparently sing. Which she didn't do very often at all. Sometimes she could be caught humming a song while working, but actually singing something?
Well, she did used to be in the church choir growing up, so it wasn't that far fetched of an idea. But it had been years since then, and her voice was a little out of practice.
Still, something about that good mood compelled her to make her way over to the gazebo where the piano was. She couldn't play (Yuki could, but even she had fallen out of practice with that in recent years, too) but she knew enough to strike a note and start from there. She wasn't singing to anyone in particular, and the song that came out of here surprisingly wasn't a church hymn.]
Kuon no shijima yagate sora ni
aoku aoku tokete nijinde
mahiru no tsuki no usui kage wa
sugu ni sugu ni mirai wo yobu...
[It didn't quite sound the same without some accompaniment, but she still got rather in to it. Enough that she probably wouldn't notice if some one stopped to listen...]

[ She's talking as if Rin knows exactly what she was talking about. She smiles sheepishly. ]
S-Sorry, I forgot for a moment that you're not from Unova ...

Pokemon are like people, though, in that they come in a lot of different varieties, personalities ... not all Pokemon enjoy fighting. Some would rather perform, or just hang out with their trainers and spend time together.

[Man why can't demons and humans get along like that? Not that demon battles would be particularly good for their world, but at the very least co existing with humans instead of wanting to torment them all the time.]

[ She smiles brightly. She really likes her world. ]

[ She takes out her Pokedex. There are so many that she can't always remember exactly how many. ]
649 current known varieties of Pokemon. New ones are being discovered all the time, though.

... at least until she noticed the device Hilda had.]
What is that?
no subject
... or, it did. Before. Well. This. But even before this I wasn't really in my own world, so ...
[ There's a flicker of sadness in her eyes, but she does her best to cover it up as she hands the device over to Rin so she can see more of it. ]

Really? That sounds neat!

[ She flips to Tepig's entry. ]
Here! This is what Emboar looked like when he and I first met.
no subject
... he was so tiny.

Sounds a bit like Kuro...

[ She's really curious about Kuro now. ]

[Rin patted her pockets for a second, tugging out a folded, faded and somewhat beat up photo. A bunch of teenagers, one who is obviously Rin herself, together with a large window overlooking an old looking city from very high up. There's a black feline on her shoulder, grinning big with horns on his head.]
That's him. He's a Cat Sídhe, a class of demons that possess cats. If they live long enough their tail splits -- see, you can see the two tails right there. They were protectors of temples for a long time, back when Japan still had a ton of active ones. Now a lot of 'em go in to contracts with human exorcists to be their familiars. He's tiny there but he can grow really huge if he needs to.

He's really cute ...
[ And he is. He looked like he'd fit right in with most pokemon. ]
If you didn't tell me he was from your world, I would think that he's a Pokemon.

What other kinds of demons do you have in your world?

[ Though she was only in school for a few years before starting on her Pokemon journey, so ... ]

[Clearly the Vatican needed a Demonology app for iPads.]

[ There's an app for everything nowadays. ]
