First Word :: Day 114
Who: Paarthurnax OR Aoi, and you!
Status: Open
When: Day 114, towards the 'evening'
Where: The Bastion
What: Two new arrivals make their way in. One of them is a cute teenage girl. The other is a giant dragon.
[Sometime towards the end of Day 114, a few people watching the Skyway might notice something very big making its way towards the Bastion. Big and airborne, for that matter. It's upon the Bastion in very little time, an enormous wyvern if you want to be technical and simply dragon if you don't. When it lands at the entrance to the Bastion, the earth shakes a bit and it lowers its head...]
[Huh, that sure is a cute teenage girl seated on its neck.]
[Anyone particularly close might be able to hear a brief exchange between the two of them.]
Now we part ways. They would react better to you, I believe. Zu'u fen pek het. I will wait here.
Guess so, huh... Okay! We'll meet up later, then!
[With that, the girl sets off to investigate while the dragon waits near the Skyway as he observes from a distance.]
[Who do you approach?]

A long time.
[Another step forward, like Crona's being drawn by a magnet. One hand held out to touch the dragon's scales.]
no subject
[He doesn't shy away from Crona's touch. Instead, Paarthurnax stays still as that small set of fingers touches his scales. They're hard, obviously meant to take in a lot of damage. Despite that, however, there are still scars and signs of being worn, just like his tattered wings. When he takes in breaths, they are deep and his body swells up to press against Crona's palm. More noticeable is the heat that dwells just past the scales, making him warm to the touch.]

The warmth means fire. Tears and scars mean age.]

Are there any other dov, any dragons, here besides myself?
[The Bastion is not on fire, or blown apart, or covered in patches of frost. Considering that, Paarthurnax would guess 'no'. However, it never hurts to be careful, and he is interested to see if any of his kin have arrived here as well.]
no subject
C-chime. But... Chime isn't... Chime is just magic.

[The words seem to be said more to himself than anything. No need to translate. This is not the first time he has had to deal with isolation from the rest of his kin. He will remain patient as usual.]
What beings have come to this place, then, Crona?
no subject
J-just humans.
no subject
[While there were many kinds of humans, of that there was no doubt, there were also many kind of mer. From what he had heard from the Greybeards, even Windhelm had its Argonians and Dunmer. What kind of place was this?]
Are there any settlements besides this place, or is it merely void and scattered land?

[A deep breath to help get his thoughts together. Things did not appear to be good from the start. Even arriving at some place inhabited, their luck doe snot seem to becoming much better.]
Would you tell me what happened here?
no subject
Everything blew up. Before we got here.

[He moves his massive head to nod towards the Skyway.]

Some... some people were here before.

What of you, Crona? Where do you hail?

Such a place has a foreboding name.
no subject
It's Death's city.
no subject
Death's?
no subject
You know. The reaper.
