[The excitement of the day before moves in to the quiet of the day after in the Bastion. It's fairly calm after all that, and the two new arrivals have been mostly healed. Current residents will find the once-armored woman bandaged still but in surprisingly good spirits, and the male with the guitar skittish and likely to jump at the smallest thing.

Well, it so happens I'm a fantastic hunting hawk. [ He smirks, eyes still roaming the areas of the Bastion he could see from where they sat. ] Well, more like a combination of falcon, eagle and hawk, really, with a little peacock. [ He murmurs absently. ]

Justin, huh? Well, when Boss Foxface and I are out in the field, I'll keep an ear and eye out. Promise, if he's out there, we'll find him sooner or later. Though I'm sure you'll be doing searching of your own once you get all fixed up, huh?

But her humored expression does turn sad at the mention of her husband and finding him.]

Well... I'll certainly want to go out there, yes, but I'm not sure how much good I'll be. That was my sword arm, after all.

[ A smile that had grown at the return teasing falters briefly before turning serious. ]

Don't be gloomy Mrs. D. People go out there all the time. Even without you, there's plenty of people going out. I imagine sooner or later they'll manage to sort all of this out anyways. Who knows what might come of it. So no worrying over what-ifs and maybes.
How about this - SOMEWHERE, your husband is fine. He might not be here right now, but in another place and another time, he's just being himself like any other day.
