Day 84 :: Open
Who: Crona and Ragnarok (
blackblooded) and open
Open: Open
When: 84
Where: Bastion, then Skyway
What: Crona hasn't exactly been having the best week, and wants to do something useful
Format: action
Warnings: idk probably nothing
[There's only so long someone can stay locked up in their room with nothing to do before they get fed up with the same scenery and go outside. Even someone like Crona.
But the Bastion is always busy, humming with activity and people, and Crona can't handle being social right now. So the meister leaves the apartments and starts heading out towards the Skyway. Ragnarok hums in his meister's veins, excited about the potential of killing. And really, Crona doesn't disagree with him.
Besides, maybe, just maybe, Crona will find something useful.]

Something pings at his senses, and Maka turns to face Crona.]
[However, he cannot speak. Seeing them only causes a sick lurch of pain in his heart. Crona didn't want him around, Crona wanted him to get lost on the Skyway like Marie had, he wasn't "actually" Maka to Crona at all.
The more he thought about it, the angrier he became all over again.]
Crona.
no subject
A step backwards. A shake of the head.
No. Not Maka. Not today.]
no subject
no subject
(Oh no. Maka cannot, cannot say this is Crona' fault. Crona did nothing, see? Not Crona's fault and if Maka tries to pin this on Crona? No, Crona won't stand that. Crona won't stand that at all. Crona is through with being pushed around.)
A few steps forward, head bowed. One hand shoved palm flat to Maka's chest, enough to knock the other meister backwards.]
My fault? No, no Maka it's not my fault. You won't listen. You won't listen to me when I say that I don't want you to leave, that you're Maka and that's all that matters. You won't listen and when I tell you the truth you call me a liar.
That's wrong.
no subject
[This whole thing is out of their control anyway, all that can be done is to react and adapt and--]
[Listen.]
[He's mixed up and lost and feels like a stranger to this world and has stopped considering how Crona might feel about any of this. Why? Crona is the most important person to him after Soul. He's lost everything, but Crona is still here.]
I never said...it was anybody's fault. There's no fault here except with what destroyed our world. Your world. My world. [Still confusing...]
...You love her, don't you? The other me. [He's not sure how to deal with something like that, but he probably wouldn't know how to deal with it even if he was the female Maka.]
Be honest.
no subject
Love.]
no subject
[Ahem.]
...But just so you should know...I'd do anything you asked me to do. I care about you a lot and I want you to be happy, I'm disgusted with myself for doubting you.
no subject
I didn't say that, you know? You're telling me I think things I don't. [Because Crona doesn't understand love, but doesn't think this jumbled-up mess of feelings and reactions and care is quite love. The meister's still somewhat shellshocked from the concept of maybe-love, but then that anger starts coming back, because Maka still won't listen.]
You keep saying I'm going to lie to you. If you didn't think I was going to lie to you you wouldn't have told me not to. But you did, so you think I'm going to lie. I'm not a liar. I hate lying.
I never wanted you to go away. You just decided that on your own. You decided that was what I wanted and you didn't listen!
no subject
[Maka please.]
I'm sorry. You don't have to say anything else to me, but I'm sorry.
no subject
Maka.... Maka is the most important other person in the world to me. I-if you think I'm just going to stop talking to you then you're not thinking straight.
no subject
[At least he's being honest.]
I'm looking for Soul. I have a bad feeling that I'm going to find her with how everything else is going. Finding excuses to hate myself is all I can think to do right now.
no subject
You're right. You're not Maka. Maka wouldn't say something like that. Maka's brave, and Maka doesn't hate herself.
no subject
Besides which, how do you know that your Maka never has moments where she hates herself?
["Hates" is putting it too strongly, though, being a perfectionist and beating himself up for the slightest thing done wrong is more accurate. He should not be saying "hate" at all, but then again he's a stupid-ass teenager and shouldn't even be having this conversation.]
Your Maka also supposedly destroyed the Kishin. That's not a reality in my world. The reality is you were the one that was intent on becoming the next Kishin. But you're here now, I'm here now. What are we supposed to do with that?
no subject
... maybe you didn't save me.
[Crona knows how to be cruel. Crona is Medusa's child.]
no subject
He swings out his fist, consumed in rage and indignation, aimed for Crona's face.]
I TRIED! You didn't want to be saved! You wanted to become one with the Kishin! But I was going to reach into the Kishin and pull you back out again, you idiot!
no subject
When I ran away, you found me. Lady Medusa couldn't find me but you did.
no subject
[He says, shaking.]
Medusa had you. She lied to me about you being captured by Arachne so I would cooperate with her. I fell right into Medusa's trap by killing Arachne, thinking she had you held hostage.
It was a lie. You were with Medusa the whole time, then you killed her.
no subject
no subject
[He rubs at his eyes with a sleeve and looks away.]
If it meant getting you back, yes, I entrusted my safety to Medusa.
no subject
Lady Medusa never ever tells the truth.
no subject
[At least he knows now.]
I was foolish, but...that tends to happen when I think about you.
no subject
Crona wants to go home. Just make this all stop, please, someone.]
no subject
no subject
[Crona just wants this to stop.]
no subject
[Ah.
Fear, the feelings of inadequacy, those feelings never go away.]
I'm not justified in that, that's not why I'm telling you this, just...I was scared of the idea of someone important to me not really wanting me to be around.
[If only they could just wake up and find that this had been all a dream.]
no subject
no subject
That's me. That is me, regardless of sex, but...gosh, courage isn't anything special, doesn't he know that?]
...Crona...I'm glad I'm not alone here. I'm glad that you're here. I wouldn't trade you for anybody else.
no subject
I wouldn't trade you. Ever.
no subject
Silently, he holds open his arms, the obvious gesture asking for a hug.]
no subject
no subject
I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry...
[He's never going to stop saying that at this point.]
no subject
But Crona will try and be brave.]
I-i-i-it's okay, Maka.

He found himself wandering along the narrow paths, being careful not to stray too far away from his only way; lest he get stuck too far away, but he needed to get used to this at some point. He was just throwing a few practice jabs to get used to the weight of his new weapons when he spotted a moving, brightly colored bit of hair not too far away...
He'd seen the person at the food gathering not too long ago, but he hadn't gotten a chance to introduce himself...and it was better than being out here alone, so he made his way over and began waving his hand to get the person's attention as not to surprise them into attacking him by accident]
Hello? You live in the Bastion too, right? What brings you all the way out here by yourself?
no subject
There's no weapon in Crona's hand. Not yet.]
I.... I wanted more shards, you know? To save them up.
no subject
[Ippo hadn't been exactly planning on shard hunting today, this was just supposed to be a small outing to get his feet wet on the skyway. Still...it couldn't hurt to offer some assistance]
Do you mind if I tag along? I still have to get used to being out here and its much safer to travel together than it is to go alone.
no subject
I don't know. Are your ears sensitive? That might be a bad thing. I can get loud.
no subject
[Ippo smiled, but suddenly snapped to attention as if he'd forgotten something important; well...to him at least it was important. He straightened up and bowed politely to Crona, keeping his head low as he introduced himself]
I'm sorry, I almost forgot to introduce myself. I'm Ippo, Ippo Makunouchi. Its nice to meet you!
no subject
A bow. Crona doesn't know how to deal with bowing and so just stares, a little awkward.]
I'm Crona.
I don't know if it's nice to meet you yet, you know? Since we might not get along.
no subject
If Crona hasn't seen Bon recently, he got an awesome haircut and his hair is a lot shorter now and without the blond stripe down the middle, so he looks less like a punk gangster. He's still got his piercings in, though.]
Yo, what are you up to?
no subject
[Oh, it's... who is that?
.... ....]
Y-you changed your hair.
no subject
[He is still going to punch Night for that at some point.]
no subject
[Yes, Crona. It's short.]
no subject
[He doesn't like it short, though it's a lot more manageable now.]
no subject
Mine does too, sometimes, when I cut it.
[Crona's hair is always a choppy mess.]
