[There's only so long someone can stay locked up in their room with nothing to do before they get fed up with the same scenery and go outside. Even someone like Crona.

But the Bastion is always busy, humming with activity and people, and Crona can't handle being social right now. So the meister leaves the apartments and starts heading out towards the Skyway. Ragnarok hums in his meister's veins, excited about the potential of killing. And really, Crona doesn't disagree with him.

Besides, maybe, just maybe, Crona will find something useful.]

[A nod, not quite able to force a smile.]

I wouldn't trade you. Ever.

[When Maka feels that he's able to control his tears, he faces Crona again and takes a step towards them. Then another, and another, until finally he's in close enough proximity to Crona.

Silently, he holds open his arms, the obvious gesture asking for a hug.]

[Crona steps forward as well, and offers an awkward hug.]

[Crona you should know by now that Makas don't do awkward hugs, they go full out EMBRACE WITH ALL THE COURAGE OF THE WIND!!!]

I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry...

[He's never going to stop saying that at this point.]

[And Maka, you should know by now that COURAGE EMBRACE is only going to get Crona to stiffen and freeze, panicked.

But Crona will try and be brave.]

I-i-i-it's okay, Maka.

I'll never--ever--push you away again. We're in this together and nothing will change that.

[Crona's hands twitch, closing in the fabric of Maka's shirt, and the pink-haired meister just sort of collapses against Maka, sobbing.]

[He's crying, they're crying, yes there's all these blubbery tears. It's really super embarrassing, actually.]

[Crona is never embarrassed by blubbery tears. Those are like Crona's specialty.]
