Day 255 [Open] First rule of Pillow Fight Club: Never talk about Pillow Fight Club

[Sometime after lunch, Ibuki's voice will ring out from everybody's amulet that is within the Bastion's communication range-]

IBUKI IS DECLARING IT NOW. THIS. IS. PILLOW WAR!!!!!!!

[Ibuki will not be responding to amulet network messages that reply to her]

[Rather, she is running around with a bunch of pillows. Should she spot you, prepare yourelf, for she could do a number of things]

[1: Should you not notice her, she'll try to sneak up behind you and bop you on the back of the head with a pillow. If it looks like you're in the middle of important work, it'll be a very soft bop]

[2: If you're watching her, she'll run up to you and try to pillow bop your face]

[3: There is no 3]

[4: She may be hiding around a corner, and when you get close... "BWAH!" Pillow to the face!]

[5: Even dragons aren't safe from pillows.]

[6: If she knows you fairly well, especially if you're a member of her band, she might be coming into your bedroom directly to pillow fight you.]

[Anya has been trying to stay alert for rabbits since their recent appearance, but she doesn't spot Ibuki's hiding place, and she actually shrieks at the sudden pillow in her face. She claps a hand to her chest.]

God! I thought that was a bunny!

[Ibuki might appreciate that she's had her hair dyed since they last spoke, and it's now a nice magenta.]

Nope! Not a Bunbun-chan! Just Ibuki!

Oooh, Anyan-chan! Ibuki likes what you did with your hair! Ibuki's surprised! It's a good surprise! Ibuki approves!

[She didn't think Anya was the type to do something like that]

[Anya is momentarily torn between annoyance at the fright Ibuki gave her and taking the compliment.]

Oh. Well. Thank you. I wanted to try something different.

Mm, mm... Anyan-chan went to the new salon, right? Right? Maybe you can let Ibuki style your hair sometime in the future!

[For now, pillow fight is forgotten... but only for now]

That's right. It was something relaxing after my harrowing experience the other morning.

Did somebody try to punch you again for handing out condoms?

No, I'm not wasting my shards on that endeavor again any time soon.

Someone summoned rabbits, and one of them tried to kill me in my sleep. It was very distressing.

Huh? Really? A Bunbun-chan tried to kill Anyan-chan?

Ibuki just chased them around, but they didn't try to kill Ibuki! Maybe it just wanted to cuddle with Anyan-chan?

Of course you'd say that. They have you fooled, too.

Ibuki's been fooled?!

So they pretend to be like fluffy Bunbun-chans, but they're secretly like that one bunny in that funny movie from England?!

It's the one about grails and pythons!

Except it doesn't have much to do with pythons at all, now that Ibuki thinks about it... it's just in the title!

I don't know it. If it has murderous rabbits in it, then maybe we should have Colin play it at one of his movie nights as an educational film.

Ooh, a good idea, Anyan-chan! Ibuki gives it her 9001% stamp of approval! Ibuki hasn't sat down to watch English movies often, but she remembers it was a really funny movie!

... But now that Ibuki thinks about it, the Bunbun-chan in that movie didn't try to fool anybody. It just attacked straight away! Really scary, heads flying everywhere! But that Bunbun-chan only has one scene in the whole movie.

If it's only one scene, you don't know what might have led up to that attack, how long that bunny might have spent in preparation. It sounds terrifying.

It attacks them as soon as they start to approach it, their first meeting!

It's like... look, a little Bunbun-cha-UWAH! Decapitations! No preparation at all!

Well, it is fiction, I suppose.

Maybe, maybe...

But, on the other hand, Ibuki thought Pokemon were fiction! It was the most surprising thing to see one for real! Ibuki was like... UWAH! Pokemon!

Really? There are countless alternate universes out there, it shouldn't be so surprising to find things like that here where they've collided together.

That means the bunny from the grail and python movie could show up anytime!

Oooh, that's scary to think about!

I'm glad you understand the severity of the situation.

Right, right, it could be really severe! The worst severe! Super High School Level Severe!

But let's not think about that right now! Let's pillow fight, Anyan-chan!

[And she's tossing a pillow at you, Anya]

I've never actually done this. Aren't we supposed to be half-naked in one of our bedrooms?

Ooh, Anyan-chan really is bold! So surprising! Ibuki is scandalized!

Ibuki wanted to challenge the whole of Bastion to a pillow fight, so she had to forgo the bedroom part! It's fine to pillow fight like this!

Here, here, like this, Anyan-chan! [And Ibuki will move in to bop Anya with a pillow]

[Oh, Anya is going to return that bop with a solid swing of her pillow.]
